AJAX :: How To Dynamically Assign The Visibility Of The TabPanels In Page

I'm trying to dynamically assign the visibility of the TabPanels in my page. The code below sort of works, but not correctly (refer to image).
It is able to hide the actual tab, but the header still appears (though unclickable). I need for the header and the tab to be hidden.
I tried to use "tb = (AjaxControlToolkit.TabPanel)this.page.findControl("TabPanel1").Visible = true"
And get this error Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I can be pointed to the right direction.

I have a web page where a div needs to be displayed under certain conditions. I'm using the following code to toggle the display and have verified that it works.

To call this javascript function, I'm using the following code in the code-behind for the page:

I traced the flow using the debugger. When the page load, txt_Cat_ID.Text = "2" correctly resolves to FALSE and the toggleOptionsDiv script is run with the 'hide' parameter. The page correctly hides the div.
When I click on the link that makes txt_CAT_ID.Text = "2" resolve to TRUE, the code executes the line where the toggleOptionsDiv script is run with the 'show' parameter. However, the div remains hidden.
The link that is clicked triggers an asynchronous post back and I'm not sure if that is the problem. How can I get the div to display on postback?

I have two TabContainers. One TabContainer is on the main page, and contains TabPanels that constructed dynamically. Each TabPanel contains an IFrame control. One of these frames contains a TabContainer of it's own, this one declared in HTML.
The problem is, the main TabContainer tab headers come out pixelated in IE6. This does not happen for the TabContainer inside the frame, and is not a problem in IE7. However my users are all on IE6, and while this doesn't hurt functionality it doesn't look nice.
I have tried making both TabContainers use the same CSS and assigned them all the same properties, but this has had no effect.

I'm using a TabContainer with 2 TabPanels in my web application project, and at this point I'm simply using the default style.The tabpanels are displaying just fine in Internet Explorer and Firefox, but they're not visible in Opera.

I have a DropDownList in a TabPanel.In a separate TabPanel I have a control wrapped in an UpdatePanel which is tied to the SelectedIndexChanged event of the DDL in the first panel.At run-time I get an error from the UpdatePanel indicating the DDL control does not exist.
I moved the UpdatePanel into the same TabPanel with the DDL.The DDL has AutoPostBack set to true and the event for SelectedIndexChanged never fires.I also turned off Validation in case a validator was capturing it.This all worked fine before I "tabified" this page.

I have a website that sales associates access to view account information with clients. S.A's can only view information for accounts that they are tied to. Some clients have more than one account, S.A's can be tied to more than one account, but not all accounts of one client need to be tied to one S.A.
On the account info pages, I have account numbers (dynamically displayed labels) displayed of other accounts that the account client is associated with, which the S.A's can see. I'm modding this so that if the S.A has viewing permissions of any of the other accounts on that list of accounts, that instead of a label being displayed, a button directing them to that account page will display instead. In order for this to work, I have to attach a security function to the button, otherwise the page will blow out on the S.A's.
So I'm running a piece that is displaying a button instead of a label, which is working fine. My problem is when I try to attach the security event to the dynamically displayed buttons. It seems that the page just posts back and doesn't execute my code at all.
On my Page_Load, I'm running this after the buttons and labels are displayed:

I see a lot of people have been asking this question, some was because of the if postback check , but mine is different. i am using AjaxModalExtender to show my popup on the server side. this is my markup

as you can see i have a gridview that will be on the modal and its working fine, now after the grid has returned some results, i will select one record via the checkbox on the Grid and click the button "btnPickrecord" and this will fire my server side code

the breakpoints got a hit and i stepped through it and i the value get assigned to the textbox <b> txtreference.Text</b> , but when i close the modal the textbox is empty , or while the modal is open i can see the value does not reflect in the parent page. Here is the Code for invoking the modal

I'm working on an ASP.Net page containing a GridView, which is populated with customer orders returned by a stored procedure. What I'd like to do is dynamically change the backcolor of the GridView rows to indicate priority.
The stored procedure returns an integer indicating the records priority, I think I just need to translate the integer to a color, then make the GridView row display it.
The "making the GridView row display it" part is the one that's giving me a hard time.
What's the best way to do this?

i was working on an application where i was having large string and need to be divided in chuck of string, and should be kept in a div, just the purpose was giving pagination to the large string, so i wrote code to split the whole string into multiple chunks and added the chunk of string in a div created at runtime, and also disabled all the other div's except the first, and also given page numbers in the footer for changing pages, but now my issue is i am using anchor tags using HTMLAnchor from code behind, now whenever user clicks on any page that div should be set to display and other all should get hide, i am not getting how should i do this from code behind, i have done everything from code behind, from creating div to hiding div...

How do I assign database to AccessDataSource control dynamically.
If I load aspx page by mypage.aspx?DB=100 then I want to use 100.mdb as data base
If I load aspx page by mypage.aspx?DB=200 then I want to use 200.mdb as data base
Both databases are identical except for the fact that data is different.

How to disable tab or visibility control if some condition is not satisfy.
I want it that control in .asmx page, because I have some Cascaded combo under two tab.
If the first combo is not populate in any of tab then that tab will not visible or disable to user.
As I am populating the cascaded combo box using web methods so it is easy for me to declare that fuction there.
