I have a Ajax Accordion control on my page with treeview in Content Template. As the treeview for each pane are big. I am wondering whether I can load the treeview from codebehind only after the pane is selected. I can reuse the code from ItemDataBound of Accordion control.

View 1 RepliesI have 2 gridviews in an aspx file. The First one is master grid, and the second one is detail grid. (such as Customer and it's Invoices) First, I load data into master grid. I use FireBug and notice that every row has it's row id, such as:

Then, in master grid, I select a buttonfiled in a row to load the second gridview.Every thing alright, the second grid has it's row id But The master grid lost all row id that I dont know the reason why?

I create dynamic buttons from code behind.I get some id from query string,create button with that id ,dynamic add event handler to click event,and add button to placeholder.I store the list of id-s in session and in page load method recreate these buttons and add to placeholder.One of the id-s is CurrentId and it's also stored in session.Buttons click handler do something like this

In page load when I create buttons I want to set button text property different from others if id==Convert.ToInt32(Session["CurrentId"]) when list of id-s are gotten from session.But problem is that click event handler is called after page load,and when I create buttons in page load ,CurrentId in session hasn't been channged by click event handler.Can you suggest any solution to this situation?
In a multigrid i have validating two controls like date and amount.it is validating correctly when i press the tabevent.when i press the save button it is not validating.iam using two validations gruops and two validation summary.Then in save button i have also tried onclientclick() function with javascript it s working fine but if i give the correct value in date and amount records not saving how to over come this.

i have a buton with some button1_click event code. as is it works just fine, however when i add client side script, essentially a confirm with yes/no this code is not executed. how do i work around this i am using ajax i want to keep UseSubmitBehaviour to false. I am very new at this so there is a very good chance i am missing something.

I just discover why some validation is working bad on some of my forms: the button click event is being called before page load.
What I need for good is (I consider this is a normal cycle of events):
The user press a buttonSome validation occurs at client side (js function returns true if success)Some validation occurs at server sideThe page loads again showing the results
But this is what I get (BAD):

I have searched around but unable to find a solution that will work. I have a link button that is created dynamically during the page load. It is given an ID (obviously). There is a script manager on the page. I have the controls added to a panel in the updatepanel (updatePanel1). There is a dynamic label that is also created with each link button. I can get a response from the linkbutton click event during a postback on the second time clicking the linkbutton, but I am getting a complete postback instead of the asyncpostback for that control. During the creation of the dynamic linkbuttons, I am also creating a dynamic trigger for each button and adding it to the updatePanel1. The Click event is not firing the method without doing a complete page postback.

I can bind data to content template now but it is making unnecessary db calls when it tried to load intially since the data for the content template comes from different source. In order to avoid that i want o bind data to Content template only when the user is interested to look at the data. let me know how can i achieve this. View 2 RepliesI wanted to make extensive changes to a project, so I created a copy of the project folder. In the new version, I renamed all of my namespaces and a few classes. Everything compiles and runs, however, I am getting this javascript error. 'ASP.NET Ajax client-side framework failed to load' and my 'Auto complete' text box no longer works. This error does not occur in the original project.
The HTML source between the original and the new project are identical, save for the few lines of code that throw this error. The web.config files are identical.

Till then all the configurations runs properly. The web.config is also correct and ihave added the modules required for URL routing. View 21 RepliesI have a webdayview control (Infragistics proprietary ASP.net control) on my page. On the aspx source I've inserted some javascript (webdayview_click - clientside click event) that calls a webmethod in the codebehind. This seems to work fine, but when I
insert this webdayview control into a user control and move the corresponding javascript into the aspx of the user control, it doesn't work. I can't even insert a breakpoint into the javascript function to debug it. Is there a way to make it work? I want to enable the click event of the webdayview control so that when I click on it, the javascript function calls the webmethod. Here's my code (remember it is inside a user control):

I have developed an ERP module wihch runs on intranet. with ASP.NET /AJAX. It runs perfectly in my localhost. IIS. But when I try to run it on my development, It gives some errors of AJAX. undefined string literals. Microft ajax client-sisde framework failed to load. sys is undefined.. I've check my web.config file. But I cant find any problems into it.
View 8 RepliesI'm trying to prevent a "flicker" effect that is occurring on my ASP.NET page which occurs when a user navigates to the page via the browser back button after having navigated away from it. The reason for the flicker is that I'm using an Update Panel which has some content in there on the initial page-load. As a result, when the page is loaded via a back button that initial content is shown very briefly before it is updated with the correct History-aware data.
In order to overcome this I am intending on having the updatepanel hidden (display: none) on inital page load and then show it as long as we don't have any history to deal with. The problem is that I can't find out what to check to determine if there's any history. I can see that the Sys.Application has a _history member but when I'm checking it on page init it is null each time.Does anyone know what I should be checking to determine if there's history to deal with for a page load client-side? And at what point to do it?
I've found posts about making a click event with jQuery for a button, however I need a little more then that. When any postback occurs on a page, I need to fire off a jQuery click event. Based on a condition, I want to continue processing (including running the server-side event code after the jQuery code), or, perform a redirect. I'm not quite sure how to go about this.
