Listview and findcontrol ans show and hide my panel.
I would like to show a faq-area with many questions and answers. If the page was load, i will show only the questions. Now the user can click the button show, then my panel must be visible = true and the answer of the clicked question was shown.
How can I realize this?
My proposal is this code, but it does not run.

I am perform some action in update panel and there is a button to perform that action after perform that action, I want to show a button which is out side of update panel.
View 1 RepliesI have a ListView control that is inside of an update panel. I have a Button control that calls code behind when clicked and I have a trigger in the update panel that is triggered based on the click event of the button. The button that calls the code behind and inserts a record into the database works fine but I get a full page refresh and the ListView Data is not updated as expected. I then can go to another page, come back and the new data is there. I'm not sure what I missing. Please see the code below.

I am using a ListView to display a list of Products. My DB has a field named productImage. What I want to do is show this row if there is a picture associated with the product, Hide this row is there is no picture associated with the product.So on the Listview_ItemCreated Event I have this:

I have a panel at the top of my page which contains some cascading dropdown lists. Once the user selects from the lists, they will click a 'Search' asp.net button and a gridview will appear below showing the search results. What I want to do is use JQuery to toggle the visibility of the search panel. I tried using the Ajax collapsiblepanelextender but ran into all kinds of problems, because there are many updatepanels and ajax extension controls on this page. It sounds so simple, just hide or show, but I can't get it to work. When I click the button, the panel hides. When I click it again, the panel does not reappear. I have also tried having 2 buttons, 'hide' and 'show', and had the same results. right now here is my code:

View 1 RepliesI have a listview and in each there is a dropdownlist and a textbox. The textbox is invisible. When I change a value on the ddl it fires the SelectedIndexChangedMethod. In here, if the ddl is certain value I want to show the textbox thats on the same row. How do I grab the textbox from inside this method?

I have a formview with an image and a panel which is initially hidden/invisible.
I want to make panel visible on mouseover event of the image and make it invisble on mouseout.
I tried to img.Attributes.Add("onmouseover", "showPanel()") in FormView1_ItemCreated ( object sender, EventArgs e) event.
During runtime it gave an error. jscript object expected. I am not sure if it should be client java script.

However, using button.visible=false cannot work. I do not know the reason for it. Do anyone know how to hide the buttons in the panel for modalpopupextender?

View 1 RepliesI have set up an asp repeater to go through and display a list of people based on input parameters. Within that repeater I have a repeater that displays specific details about each person. No problem so far.
However, my requirement is that I only display the names, with a plus/minus sign to the left of the name. Clicking on the plus sign will expand that person's information to show the details. Clicking the minus sign will collapse the detail info.
I have a panel set up within my primary repeater that encompasses the secondary repeater.

I have a column within my gridview that displays status of the records. Certain records we need to prompt for additonal information and confirmation so we are using a modalpopup, but other records dont need the popup, so how can i disable or prevent the modalpopup from opening for those records?

View 1 RepliesI have added TabContainer to webform. One of Tab container has 10 Tabs. Few of which I would like to hide based on user rights.
So added me.TabPanel1.visible = false me.tabPanel2.visible = True.
Works when added in Page load but Now my problem is if hiden panel is first tab. and then I update something on 3 tab.
then Tab2 fields are supimposed on tab 3 Fields.
I have a nested accordion control for categories and sub-categories with a gridview to display the data. What I am trying to do is to hide the "Header Template" when sub-category is "Not Defined" but the results are usually inconsistent and seems like if i define HeaderCssClass, HeaderSelectedCssClass declaratively then it overrides the conditional css styles defined in code (c#) for OnItemDataBound event whereas if I don't define declaratively then css in code is not consistent.
I am not sure how to approach this or if I am using the correct event for this.
In the code - I used label's forecolor proprtery to match to the background as a workaround for now but not happy with it.
I can set lblSubHeaderId.Visible = false; which works consistently but then I still have this predefined HeaderCssClass, HeaderSelectedCssClass which is still shown as a placeholder/ just a horizantal line for the headers where lblSubHeaderId is set to false.
