Access :: Master/Details Datatable Insert

I have a text file coming from another system that is in fixed format with header and details information regarding a request of material, looks like:
HDR 1000 HeaderDescription
DTL ProductId Productdescription qty ...........
DTL ProductId Productdescription qty ...........
DTL ProductId Productdescription qty ...........
I can read the file using streamreader on a "continous way" inside a do while loop, and parse it to obtain th different fileds required.i want to read the file, identify header line and fill a datatable, then identify details lines and fill another datatable to be able to insert both tables on the same transaction scope, if something fails rollback the insert.Im using a access 2003 database as backend and custom DAL and Business objects.

I am using Visual studio 2010 express and I have a details view databinded to an sql database table. When I use the Insert option on the view it causes an error due to it trying to insert a null into the primary key field. If the Insert function does not create a new primary key entry how is it created?

I'm trying to get a record to show up in a details view as part of a Master Details. I was able to get this to work by setting the visibility to true for the Details View in the Page Load event. I now want the details view to show up when the Select button is clicked in the GridView's template field using the onClick event for the button. I don't seem to be assigning the correct properties to get this to work though. what property I should use with this? I know I have to get it from the GridView and assign it to the details but haven't gotten it to work. this is the GridView:

Is there anything missing in IIS 6.0 that prevents me from (Insert into table) using MS-Access?
Explain: The application works fine under Visual Studio 2008 IDE the insert into table works fine with no error, Also I tested with hosting provider and works fine with no problem. but now I have published the same exact app in a dedicated server windows 2003 with
IIS 6.0 .NET framework 2.0 with latest service pack I gave IIS_WPG write/modify access to the folder where MS-Access database is located and database but at the time of insert an error pop-up. I need to install in the Server or settings in the IIS to recognize my MS-Access db is it some office runtime that I am missing. (BTW I am using OLEDB connection string in my C# )
Using System.Data.OleDb;
I can retrieve data off of it with no problem but when I try to insert is when it fails I thought the problem was Access Rights but I do not think is the case.

I'm writing a web service that needs to query an Access 2003 database (.mdb). I've found the following code in doing some research on OLEDB connections and queries:

Errors are as follows:
Error 3 A field initializer cannot reference the non-static field, method, or property 'CompleteRentalls.completedb.sqlString'
Error 5 'CompleteRentalls.completedb.da' is a 'field' but is used like a 'type'
Can anyone help me rectify the above code such that the query results are returned to my datatable?

Getting the message that ObjectDataSource ... count not find a non-generic method ... that has parameters ... The parameter list is fine until I get to the very end and it list the two data fields that are in my DetailsView. Using the ASP Tutorial #17 (Examining the Events Associated with Inserting, Updating, and Deleting) and the Exploring the Data Modification - specifically the one showing the INSERT of the Product Name and UnitPrice. ASPX page is pretty simple and attempting something similar, two fields to insert a new record - update the other fields later.
Full Error Message follows along with ASPX and the AsignaturasBLL.cs. Interesting thing is that when I swap the two fields in the DetailView, then the last two fields in the error message are swapped. In the error message I bolded these two fields.

I have the following scenario,There is a master business object containing 40 fields2 separate child business objectsIf I update a child record, I have to update master's 'Last modify by' status along with 3 or more fields in masterFor this purpose, I don't want to initialize a separate Master class object (as most of the fields are unused/wasted)The 'last modify by' also gets updated if the records in master get updated themselvesCurrently I have separate business objects for master table, Child 1, Child 2 etc.
How do I control this in my business object design ? Do I break up my master object ? .NET newbie. I know there has to be a way to do this.I have a details view with it's default mode set to Insert. This is to be used as a form for users to enter records into a database. For two of the fields, I want to pre-populate the field with information. Specifically, I have a vb script with a few functions to query Active Directory to return the user's name based upon their user id. This script works fine.I call the functions for the user name like this:

I am using the ajax popup for inserting some details. When you click on a Save button on the web page, a window pops up (ajax Modal popup) and once you enter the fields in the popup and click submit button in the popup, all the fields in the webpage and the popup window should be inserted into a sql table. I wrote a sql stored stored procedure for this. This is the way i did but the details are not being inserted into the SQL table.

I have a Drop Down List, a GridView and a DetailsView. The Gridview is the master, the details is the records detail view. When we edit a record and click the update button, I want the page to refresh the gridview and detailsview. Right now after clicking the update, nothing happens, it just updates the current details record.

I am having a problem with the gridview and formview. I have a gridview setup to show products and have a select button to clock on to give you the details of the product in a formview. I have the gridview setup for paging at 5 rows. In the page.aspx.vb I have on the SelectedIndexChanged event
FormView1.PageIndex = GridViewMain.SelectedIndex
This all works great until I go to the next page in the gridview and try to select a product on that page and the form view does not sync up. I really need a soultion for this. I could use the 2 page soultion for the master/details view however I would like to avoid it if possible...

I have a form wilh couple of Drop downs and text boxes and a Data Grid View which displays data from Access Table. When I hit add button on the form, I can see the data being added to the Grid View. But when I close the form and open the Access Database File (.mdb), the respective table is empty. The Access Table is not being updated. Second time if I open the form, the Grid View is also empty.I am pasting my code here.
