I am using an AJAX AutoCompleteExtender to display a list of suburbs-postcodes after the user presses 3 keys in the given textbox.
The problem is that on the page, I can't move my selection below the first item (with down arrow key/mouse). However with mouse if I click on any item, it gets selected.

View 1 RepliesI have an issue with my asp:Wizard, where basically I am calling the MoveTo function and it is not moving to the desired step. I have used the MoveTo function elsewhere in my wizard, but I only have the problem with this specific location.

In the above code, ValidateSelectModelStep() returns false, and so the block of code is entered. urchaseWizard.MoveTo(this.SelectModelStep) is called, and yet the Wizard just continues on to the YourDetailsStep. This however is not he case for the other steps. When the validation fails on the other steps, and purchaseWizard.MoveTo(currentStep) is called, the Wizard correctly goes to the current step and displays the errorText. What is really bizarre, is that if I change the step that we want to go to when ValidateSelectModelStep() fails, the Wizard will correctly go to the specified step. So it seems as though there is only the problem with when you are on the first step, trying to MoveTo the first step. Even more so, is the fact that if I try to call purchaseWizard.MoveTo(this.SelectModelStep) from some other step in the wizard, it correctly brings you to the first step. Note: In the first step I have a repeater, which for the validation I need to loop through all of the items and find if one is selected. My Validation function for that works fine, and the MoveTo function does get called. (I checked it through debugging) Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and how to stop it so my validation restricts progression through the wizard correctly?
I have gridview with many items. On each item showing the detailed description when clicking the Detail button on each item inside the gridview with collapsiblepanel extender. But my client requirement is as follows,
If the user clicked on the details button while a listing is in any position other than the top, the listing will move to the top position and open the details.
Is this possible on gridview without refreshing the page?

i want to get data from database of field Name and Gender, and then display it in Label name and gender. when i click save it move to next record and display name and gender that next record.
I currently have this controller function:

This currently gives me an error on my view page if I attempt to edit an item with an id of 100, when there is no user with an id of 100 in the database. What's the best practice for handling this? Send them to a Create page, or show a friendly error message? Should that redirect functionality be within the controller function?
Ive created supersimple form. just drag and drop several labels and image.

my form shows as expected, but without labels. there are white rectangulars instead of each all items(tried with label, checkbox, image) it seems that form cannot load this items, although it can load by itself.
I didn't do anything with default code in form.
I am trying to add default item 'All' to my RadComboBox. It is adding at the end and also it doesn't select this default item. What could be the problem?

I'm using a DropDownList with a data source which successfully populates the list. However, I want one of the items to be selected, namely the one where the value matches the path and query of the current request.

Using the debugger in Visual Studio 2008 reveals that item.Selected becomes true exactly once in the loop, but the rendered select has no option that is selected.

Is there a way to remove the arrow from the menu when the root item has subitems?
It would look neater if the arrow wasn't there.

I have the following script that captures keypresses in a text box in a gridview row. The portion in red captures the up arrow key press. But I do not know what code to assign (the?) to make it emulate a shift-tab.

I want the arrow-collapsed image to be displyed before accordian headers and when accordian header is clicked and expanded, arrow-collapsed image should change to arrow-expanded image. What am I doing wrong below? Also, image paths are all correct. I have checked many times. my accordian:-
