It uses microsoft visual studio 2010 and sql server 2008, i attached the data base to sql server 2008,when am trying to execute the project , it opens the login page , it is taking the user name and password ,after entering the user name and password, when it redirects to index page it shows the xml parsing error. i am not getting what to do for this error. when i try to execute all other pages, it opens that pages . please help me to open the index page.

It works for urls like www.x.com/x.aspx , but when I write something like :www.x.com/name (I have Application_BeginRequest dealing with it on global.asax) on the live server, IIS bypasses my application and shows its own error page.How can I disable IIS error handling and redirect where I want to?

Feb 21, 2010I have two domains for example [URL] and [URL] which both point to the same website app. In this app I have an HTTP module which checks if the session of the user is still active and if so checks if the user is a male or female. I want to check from which domain the user entered the website. If the user is a male but entered (came from) [URL]the user must be redirected to [URL]. The opposite must be done in case of a women. Other scenario's are:
a male user enters [URL]it should be redirected to [URL]
a male user enters [URL]it should be redirected to [URL]
I am using ASP.NET 3.5 on a IIS 7.0 box.

Feb 10, 2011I have two domains: www.MySite.ORG and www.MySite.COM. In both, there are web applications done in asp.net 4. I would like to modify the web.config of www.MySite.COM so that all the visitors going here will automatically be redirected to www.MySite.ORG. I thought I could do this through the control panel in the webhost, but it seems it cannot be done.

Nov 13, 2010I'm already redirecting an old domain via a 301 redirect but I've noticed that I'm getting lots of requests for certain files and pages from the old site. How can I redirect these requests so that it just loads the new site? I'd like to do this for specific files only.
Edit: The website is on shared hosting, but I can edit the web.config file of course.

Feb 23, 2011I'm having an issue Redirecting to the same domain.
For example, the redirection takes place on ServerA.Domain.com/Folder/application.aspx. However, the program redirects me to ServerA/Folder/application.aspx.
The application works fine on this domain, but I'm forced to relogin.
What can I do to force the redirection to the same domain?
I am using asp.net 3.5
Added My Redirect looks as follows:

Nov 8, 2010n the web page I need to print some content partly fetched from database to the user. The user can print all the reciepts of his basket or just print one reciept. what I do for now is that I redirect user to another page including datalists that fetched regarding info from database and then by clicking print it prints data. after that user shoud push back button to be redirected back to main page.But I want to do something on my page, that some how maybe pop up modals or flyouts or anything else, will be able to show data collected from database match with users basket, and let user click print and then print it. I need a solution on the same page not on the other page.

can i give some useful/shorter name to servername so the uRl can look like
