Control MainPage From Iframe In ModalPopupExtander?

I have a page "Default.aspx".
In this page is a ModalPopupControl with an iFrame:

Now I have a LinkButton in the iFrame that should close the MPE and redirect the Page Default.aspx to Register.aspx.

I have a pop-up page that is opned by a button's onclientclick,
<asp:Button runat="server" ID="btn" Text="LookUp" OnClientClick="window_open('test.aspx')" CausesValidation="false" />
Now my problem is when ever the pop-up window opens, the parent page loses its focus and goes to top of the page(I guess this is beacuse the page is posting back when the button is clicked).But I could set the foucs again when I am closing the pop-up window by using
window.opener.document.form2.txtbx.focus();
in the pop-up page's javascript.

I have created a web application that docks other web applications into it.When an application is docked the app creates a link button in its "tool box" on the left hand side of the page, users can easily click on any link button to navigate to the desired docked app.
I have a web app that uses iframes to display other web applications inside it. In effect it is a docking application where users can easily access many web applications from within one main app, while staying within the main app. I am having challenges dynamically resizing the iframe based on the size of the application the user is accessing.I have searched the web and tried many ideas but have yet to discover the code that will do the trick.
First, for a docking web application is the iframe the best approach? I have see some posts on ajax but am uncertain how that will help.
Second, if an iframe is the way to do it does anyone have code that will completely liminate the need for iframe scroll bars?
Note:The applications docked in the main we app may be of any size and can change size as users interact with them.

Our website application needs to open other web sites Iframe.(Our application is web based tool to help high school children to analyze the websites. It has to show news websites to in one iframe and in rest of the page there will be questions related to the news website)
But since many websites use framekiller code, these sites take control of entire page. Is there any ternative way / solution to this problem?It is necessary to be able to open other sites in our website (in iframe or any alternate way), otherwise whole concept of our application will become void.

My Job wants me to create a popup with an updatepanel inside of it. The updatepanel would have a wizard control that would take you through some steps. Would it be better to use and Iframe to simulate an updatepanel between steps or just use an updatepanel?

I need to allow users from another site to log into mine. The login control needs to be on the other website.
I was going to accomplish this using an <iframe> eg:

However when the user selects the login button they are directed to the homepage but its inside the iframe.
Is there a way to open the homepage in a new window (or the same window) after authenticating the user in protected void UserLogin_Authenticate(object sender, AuthenticateEventArgs e) {} ?

MakeOrderLink.Target = "_blank" works when the control is placed only in .aspx page but I can not figure out how to redirect when it is nested two levels down (link inside user control contained in iframe contained in another .aspx page).

i'm developing a web application using asp.net 3.5 sp1, my issue is , i need to upload multiple files asynchronously.
for that i used the ajax control toolkit "async file upload", where i can only upload single file and cannot track the filenames after uploading, so i go for the "file uploaded ajax"

when i started including the cascading dropdown in that page("mainpage.aspx") , an error occured in the page, ie; when i click add files of the "file upload ajax", the "file upload" control some times doesnot show, so i created another page("testpage.aspx") and included the "file upload" control in that page and created an iframe in the "mainpage.aspx" and call the "testpage.aspx", now it is working fine, but i was not able to track the filename, can i access the control inside that iframe from the "mainpage.aspx" ?

I have a MasterPage and a ContentPage. On the ContentPage I Similated a TabControl by using a Menu and an IFrame. When the menu item is seleceted it loads in the appropriate WebPage into the IFrame. Now... on one of the WebPages I am creating dynamic controls on Page_Load. But when I refresh or switch menu (Simulated TabControl) back and forth, then I lose my controls and values.

In my application i use iframe (to be more specific; Greybox tool). Sometimes i had an unkown error when i open page in iframe. Then i applied this fix : [URL] and that unknown error disseppeared. But i have another problem now:( I am using following script to focus to the first textbox whenever my input pages are opened in iframe.

After i applied previous fix, i get this error when i load page in iframe for the first time :
Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of type that does not accept focus.
Here, txt_PID doesnt contain any ajaxtoolkit things. (also Enabled= true and Visible=true etc.) . Last thing, my current test page contains just 3 controls: txt_PID just plain Asp.TextBox ajaxHTMLEditor another textboxt with MaskedEditExtender. If i remove HTMLEditor from page; i dont get that error( Can't move focus...) and also i dont get first error which i applied that fix in toolkit.

I have a webform named Default.aspx and in it an iFrame...
The iFrame will load one of a few different pages/forms/aspx... (for this example lets just say its test.aspx)
On test.aspx I have 2 buttons Button1 and Button2 If I have code in my test.aspx.vb for Button1 click of:
button2.text = "hello world"
it looks as if it reloads test.aspx inside the iFrame and sure enough Button2 states "hello world"
So now lets say on the Default.aspx I also have a button and its named Button5.
How would I go about updating the Button5.Text from with in the vb code of Button1 click/vb code located on Test.aspx
I have looked over some other post [URL] and the tell of using "PreviousPage" but that not seam to be what I need, I want to be able to state the page/form I want to effect a control on it...
I know how to do this in jut standard VB.net (not web) its like:
FromName.ControleName.Text = "Hello World" but then again in VB.net windows apps you dont have Iframse to deal with...

I have a website the main page holder is placed within an iframe - everytime I navigate to a page from the menu a new page id is set within the frame. I have a left hand panel seperate to thee i frame which is a usercontrol and is static. I'm trying to capture the main iframe pageid from within the usercontrol.When I navigate to to a new page - the iframe is updated but the usercontrol is not, and im struggling to think of how I can grab frame id from within the usercontrol.
I've tried setting trhe page id as a session variable but this isnt accurrate enough. I need to grab it as as soon as a new page is hit.

In order to use a third party API, I had to create a page that does not have form runat="server" in it. Because my app is using MasterPages and have a consistent look and feel throughout the application, though not too thrilled w/ the solution, I had to use iframe to embed this page into my app.It works fine but here's what I want to do. When the API call succeeds, I display a message and want to also place a hyperlink to send the user back to their home page. I think you see what I'm getting at by now. If I do this and the user clicks the link, it's all happening within the iframe.How do I send the user back to his home page and affect the whole page and not just the iframe page?

How can i refresh(Asych) the contents of my Datalist on the parent page from a data change in a page that is displayed in an iFrame on the parent page.
I have movie names with image in the data list that is on parent page.
there another page is openend in the parent pages in an iFrame control.
in that sub page i upload image and other data related to a new movie.
What i want is that when i submit that information in an iFrame page, the DataList should update(Asych) itself on the parent page showing new updated info.

I have a controller called Test and there are two methods in it, one is MultipleSelect and the other is DisplaySelectedSubjects. The view for MultipleSelect has been set up and is working properly. Now I want to add a iframe in the view of DisplaySelectedSubjects to display the content of MultipleSelect. Both views are in the same folder Views/Test in the MVC project. I did the following:

</iframe>
Yet the iframe display an error message: "The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
