Mar 23, 2010I have an ASP.NET site at work that uses a SQL Server 2k database.
Some pages on the site have buttons to export data via Crystal Reports and the user has the option to save or open. I also export to MS Excel using Response with content type.
Everything works fine until the workload increases and many documents are exported. What happens is that the site stops exporting when the buttons are pressed. It simply does nothing.
you can still use other features of the site but no exporting.
the only solution i've found so far is to restart IIS (Hosted on a Windows 2k3 server).
this only lasts about an hour or less and i have to restart again.

Apr 17, 2010i have a asp.net project i want the user be able to select the fields from checkboxes near every filed in grid and also filter it by selecting the operator form dropdownlist and filter string from textbox in grid so i create a empty datatable in dataset and it have 7 columns i bind my crystal report to it and i use the following code for showing fields it works and i see the data but when i want to export or print it only the headers remain data disappeare here is my code:

Jan 12, 2010We are using Crystal Reports to generate pdf's of customer bills (from a CR template). It works fine except the engine seems to be adding the letter "i" to random words in the output. Certain alignment problems are also evident (words overlapping etc). Standard fonts are being used.
We are using .net 4 and C# linked to the 10.5 CR assemblies. Latest version of Adobe Acrobat reader is installed on the server.
We have now tried this via 12.2 CR assemblies with the same results. We have also tried multiple .rpt files with the same results.

Jan 22, 2010When I click on the export button and get the pop-up where you choose the export format....when I choose the Crystal Reports format and click ok,the contents of that pop-up window is now the same as the page where I clicked the export button along with an 'Access Denied' message above the tool bar.
If I choose any other export format,this does not happen and I get the expected dialog where I can choose to open or save the export file.It seems to be a permissions issue, but I can't figure out what CR is trying access that it doesn't have permissions for.

Apr 10, 2010In our program, we are exporting crystal report (ExportToStream method) in html format and sendind via email body contents.
The email is showing correct format i.e same format as like format showing in crystal report viewer.
But when the user, farwarding the same email to any other person, the format is totally collapsed. All lines are moving up and text parts showing down with out proper alignment.
How to resolve this issue?

Mar 11, 2011I create an ASP.NET Crystal Report Web application using VS.NET 2010. In ASP.NET page, I stored two values in Session state and need to pass them as input parameters to Oracle stored procedure. In Crystal reports 2010 once you connect to a stored-procedure as data source, it automatically creates the parameter fields with Crytal Report Viewer. how I pass values to store procedure at runtime automatically.
Detail code:
1. ASP.NET page store the values in the Session:
Sesion.Item("CourseNumber")
Sesion.Item("StudentNumber")
2. I like to pass above values to the store procedure with IN parameters named P_CourseNo and P_StudentNo to print out the Crytal Report with Store Procedure as data source.
