Data Controls :: Count Records Of Specific Types In GridView And Display Result In Label

In my asp.net gridview i want to count how much peoples are qualified in MCA and display the value in a lbel in same page. The qualifications are in COURSE field in my table anme persadata
I HAVE A GRID VIEW IN asp.net + VB Code. There is a drop down list and the selected data is displayed in web page. I placed a label in web page and code behind i used following code.

I want to display a GridView with 3 Columns: a Name, a Score, and a sort-of-ProgressBar reflecting the score. So far, I haven't been able to display the 'ProgressBar' correctly.
I placed a asp:Label inside a asp:Label [URL]. Visually, this looks nice, but the 'ProgessBar' is rigth now 50% for every row. For every row, the width of the lblProgressBar has to be the value of Score, but I can't get this to work.
I habe a arraylist that can pass in the result of a quiz and once the user finishes this quiz, the result will be displayed in a gridbiew which is binded into a sqldatasource. In this gridbiew, there is this column which will highlight the the result of this qn which displays correct and incorrect. what i want to do now is, i want to count the number of correct answers. I want to count all the correct answers and bind it to a label in the same page.
I am trying to add a label in my gridview that counts the number of records that are being displayed as well as the total number of records found via the datasource. and i want this label to be displayed in the pager template of the gridview i.e. at the bottom.

which i run in the rowdatabound method of the gridview. but when i run it it comes up with an error saying "null reference exception handles by code".i think the error lies in not being able to count the total number of rows in the sqldatasource in the int variable intTotalRecords. How do i go about counting the number of rows in the datasource that i am trying to pass in?
the select statement for my gridview contains a sub select statement..that should allow users to see how many queries are associated with a particular record..how can I get the queries column to display in my grid. As it is a count and not directly bound to any field

Even i show the time in various format means Hour, Seconds, Tick but difficulty is that i want to show time in "hh:mm:ss" format & Time in label will be decreasing.

I've written a stored procedure and specified it as data source for my gridview and defined parameter source as my CONTROLS (textboxes, checkboxes n dropdowns) on the form. What I want is when a user fills out one or multiple fields on the form, how do I display data in the gridview on the click of SEARCH button? Also is it necessary to write a codebehind for my search button or we can achieve the desired result in some other way?
i have a data driven web application, in my database i have this datetime column,
and in my web application i have this gridview, but the only data that i need to display are the records with todays date until the past 6 days from today, so its like 7 days all in all.
I have 36 Separate Checkboxes [ 1-36] ... if user selects 9,12,15th checkboxes the count must be displayed as 3 ... I want to display the count of checked checkboxes..
