Data Controls :: For Loop Inside Gridview Row Databound Not Working?

This is my for loop code, it is working fine , just the problem is, if there are 10 rows , it runs for 9 rows and not for 10th time? What correction is needed?

I want to add each value of 'k' to a gridview..If I have 10 values for 'k' (count=10), then I want to display a gridview with 10 rows...How can I do this?..
I have a GridView, the first column it's a RadioButton template and the second it's a DropDownList Template, the number of rows depends on the user, I mean they are not static. I'm using the following JS function to get the row selected with the radiobuttons:

With this function I know which RadioButton was selected, now, I would like to get the DropDownList value or text of the selected row, I know I have to loop through every DropDownList to get an array of controls, but since they are something like ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_GVProducts_ctl02_DValsDropDown, I just don't know how to achive this through JS.
I have a problem that when i bring the array of asp and use it in the javascript, When i use the counter (i++) and print for each index of array just like "<%=app[i] %>" and it is not return the value back to me.i solve this problem for a dayedit
I have a gridview which has a image button for deletion purpose in every grid row.I have placed the grid inside update panel.In IE 10(interet explorer 10) when i click on this image button it throws webpage error:
Error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: Input string was not in a correct format.
and data does not delete.But in other browsers no exceptions thrown and code is working fine without any error.
I have a LinkButton that is databound to a description. Sometimes the descriptions are very long and unorganized so I would like it to show for example 75 characters and then append a '...' to the end of any description greater than 75 characters. I am currently using following code to set alert on required column of my grid. When I change button type to Image the alert appear after completion action.
i have a FormView, and i already have a Label control that gets the value of theselected propery inside the FormView, so each time the FormView displays data, i have a Label control that displays individual values, according to the value of the FormView, here is the code:

What i would like to do is to know how i could add a DataList instead of a Label, and then each time the FormView databinds an item, to show the value of the DataList How would i go about doing that?
I have a page that has a formview on it. Client info, name, address, usual stuff. The formview is populated by a DataSource, that calls a SQL stored procedure for the client info. It all works great.Within the formview, I have a dropdownlist for the Staff assigned to the client (StaffId is a member of the Client record called during the Formview binding). When the formview is in Item mode, the Staff name appears in a label, when in Edit mode, the dropdownlist is bound and populated by another DataSource that calls a stored procedure of ActiveStaff. When the assigned staff exists, the StaffId is correctly bound to the DDL SelectedValue and the current staff name appears selected in the DDL when in edit mode, as it should.
I've been working with ListView for a long time, but I haven't been using it's built-in events so far. Now I was trying and was stuck. Until I moved both LinqDataSource and ListView to another page, without a master page.
Then it worked. Same happened with GridView as well.
I do not use Update Panel. Just master page. And if I use manual methods for edit, insert, delete then it doesn't fire OnItemCommand.
Is there a known uncompatibility with databound controls and master pages? Because I couldn't find anything about it on Google.
I have placed a dropdown list in Gridview footer, now i want to access the dropdown selected indeex changed event as below. But i'm not able to access the event.

I have a datagrid which is bound to a stored procedure in the code behind. This works fine. But the datagrid contains a checkbox which I need to be default checked. First I didn't bind the checkbox and just used:
In my application I have panel which has 5 textboxes. I've written several functions for checking each of textbox if the entered value is ok (number, is this number in database, etc.). If error occurrs textbox which caused it has different color of background.
However I wanted to write (add) function which will check if one of the textboxes has the same value as other. The problem is that function is checking blank textboxes, although it shouldn't - I wrote if statement which allows checking only non-blank textboxes but it doesn't work.

I have a gridview with dropdown boxes. As soon as the complete gridview is databound, I want to loop through ALL the rows and set the values of the dropdown boxe in a row based on the value of another column in the same row. The gridview is databound, all data shows up. The condition "If ddl.Items(j).Value = searchstring Then" evaluates as true, but somehow the selected item in the dropdownbox is NOT changed and remains "<ignore>"
I would like to ask a question on the visual basic codes to loop the gridview to retrieve the values and based on the values, it will be provided as parameters to update to the database table using stored procedure.
Firstly, I have a gridview named grvProduct. The page (ui) will be loaded with data from the database with the use of stored procedures. And only certain values can be edited through the use of template in gridview. So based on those edited values, I'm supposed to pass these values as parameters to the stored procedure which will then update a database table.
Let say, I have 3 records retrieved from the database and displayed in the gridview. And I would like to edit a values in the 3 records, how do I do batch update and pass those parameters to the stored procedure? I went to debug and step through the visual basic codes and realised there were too many arguments specified because I actually loop the gridview.

I believe it is the error in the looping of the gridview which results that I could not batch update the data/values.
i have to a grid view and the datasource for it is a table coming from the database the table containing sequence numbers for example if the sequence number is 1 then i want to add a row just above this saying it is the start , the entire row should give some information .

I need to be able to get the value in the "first" row of a Gridview as its getting or right after it is displayed.
I thought this would work but its coming up null.
I'm using the DataBound event to get the value of the control of a selected row...assuming the selected row is the first row which is probably the error of my ways. Any ideas how to get at this value easily?
I am facing certain problems with the data formatting in GridView when the data is bound dynamically to it.
I have a DateTime column and want to only show Date from it and not the time.
Another Decimal type column which accepts decimal upto 4 places, I want to show decimal upto the places defined in the particular value (don't know how to put it in the correct way, but here is an example of what I want).
i.e.
1.0000 should be displayed as 1 after the databound in the gridview.
