In my Webapplication i am trying to export GridView data into PDF format and the application is working fine.But in the resulted PDF file i'm not getting GridView Headers.

View 1 RepliesI have a requirement that i need to remove the columns from gridview which are blank but at remove funtion it gives me error so i make that columns visible false now its working fine but at the time of exporting data from gridview to excel it also export that visible= false columns in spredsheet and i don't want that blank or hidden column in my excel sheet

how do you handle null data on gridview? and also the white spaces, it seems that the white spaces are converting to "Â "Â

i have a gridview bound to sql datasource with template fields binding the columns. I have set the Header Style to a css class. I have 3 columns not bound to data as Add, Edit and Delete. When I set the text color to white for the header only the non bound columns go white. The bound columns are BLUE like hyperlink. Any one know a way round this. 1. If a GridView is assigned a datasource at design time, the header row's text can be retrieved with ((DataControlField)GridView.Columns[index]).HeaderText.
2. If a GridView is assigned a datasource at run time by code-behind, the header row's text can be retrieved with GridView.HeaderRow.Cells[index].Text.
Is there a way to do it without trying one, if not working, then the other of the aforementioned methods.

I set the header text in the Page_Load function of the page - that works fine. The problem is that when I change to the page number of the GridView, the header text is not redrawn. in my UI its displaying the column headers.
