I am trying to implement this ..[URL]I have created stored procedure which is working fine. I have changed the database and table name.

I have a requirement like need to display 5000+ records in gridview. So, I created scrollable div with gridview init and displaying 200 records per page. The website is running very slow because eveytime when user click on paging, it retrieving all the records from the database. I need to increase the website performance. I heard about a concept Girdview lazy loading but i don't know how to implement. I am looking for a solution like records should display in gridview when ever user scroll the bar down. I have a database, one field is named "clicked" with values 0 or 1.
When the gridview is displayed I would like to show the value from the field "clicked" to be displayed as an image (example: instead of 0 to display and for 1 to display)

I am trying to get my repeater to display information 10 records at a time for a single page with the user having the option to press next to view the next 10 pages or previous to review the previous 10 records with the option to skip pages by clicking the navigation links 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 is this possible?

I am working on displaying records in grid view. I have a dropdownlist on top of the grid and has items as 5 results per page, 10 results per page and 25 results per page. I have two tables: Book and author and they have one to many relation.One book may have more than one authors. Book table has Title column and Author table has AuthorName Column.
I have search page contains two textboxes: Title Textbox and AuthorName textbox to search the record.
When the user type something and hit the search button it display the Title when click the title ; it redirect to detailsPage.aspx Passing value ID.

Then in the Details page there are: Title, authors and other more from these table column.
My problem is:
When the user search and hit the search button, it display the number of matches Title only. I want to display authors related to this title in this page and other are same(when click the title go to detailspage.aspx)
How can I display the related Authors to each title in search display page (Not in details page, I know in details page) ?
If user search "The Letters and life" in the Title textbox and hit enter data should looks like:
1. Author: Payne Paddy, sed ran, der virma and Caroline Barron.
Title: The Letters and Life of Elizabeth Despenser, Lady Zouche (d. 1408) [her letters and will provide a glimpse of her personal

I have created a page with a gridview in asp.net that displays the records of a database table and allows users to delete checked records by clicking on a delete button. After I delete a record and I try to refresh the page from the browser (I am using mozilla)I get the follow message:
"To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier."
and if I click resend another record is deleted automatically. Even though I am reloading the gridview after the deletion the application executes again the onclick event of the delete button is executed and the gridview things that there is a checkedbox selected so the code executes my delete function again.
Is there any way to get rid of these behavior. I have been trying quit a few things but nothing works for me.

I need to print the current page in the asp.net application for that I am using javascript:window.print().
It's working fine when the page content is within the bounds. However, if the horizontal scrollbar appears as a result of overflow, am able to print only the visible content while the overflown contents couldn't be printed.
Is there any workaround to get this working? Is there any other alternative apart from javascript to achieve this functionality?

When I databind my SQL Join to a repeater it shows just 2 record.
When I databind it to a gridview it shows all 4 records.
When I run the SQL Query through SQL Server Query Manager it shows 4 correctly.
why my repeater only shows 2 records?
