I have 2 textbox’s and checkbox list. I want user to either enter text in one of the textbox or select any item from the checkbox list. User has to do only one action i.e. either fill the first textbox or second text box or select any item from the list.

I'm trying to do a validation for checkboxlist on a server side as all java approaches didn't work. However, probably due to the checklistbox is inside a listview the FindControl is empty. how to find a control inside a listview on a button click event when the button is outside of the listview.

Above I have to validate Year column for Numeric value otherwise it should give me erroneous records which have data other than numeric.

The function appended below works fine when the amount entered is without a decimal. But if the amount entered has a decimal, then the function gives an error. Can anyone check the same and tel me a solution.Wat i want is suppose the amount entered in 2345.68 the amount in words should come, Rupees two thousand three hundred forty fve and sixty eight paisa only. if the decimal is not entered then the function gives proper result.

I have two validation groups on a form (we will call them VG1 & VG2). I have the following code:

When this control has focus and I hit enter the validation summary displays the validation error messages for VG1.
VG1 fields are not visible (set via JS). I think I may need to also disable VG1 validation group summary.

Now this AddGridAddBTN Temporarily adds a data row to a grid but won't submit that data to database, however AddGridSubmitBTN Submits the data to DB through foreach loop .
Now my query is i want to provide user a functionality that when he gets focus on Abbreviation Text Box OR Description Box and he after typing some data Press ENTER KEY , This ENTER KEY would provide funcionality as a AddGridAddBTN Button , and when he presses SHIFT + ENTER , It works like AddGridSubmitBTN Button , also i want to make Abbreviation and Description Field to be filled must !
Moral is that :
ENTER KEY WOULD DO : Generate a temporary row with holding previous values as it is actually doing on AddGridAddBTN Button.
SHIFT + ENTER WOULD DO : Enter the whole grid data thorugh foreach loop as it is actually doing on AddGridSubmitBTN Button.
I don't want to refresh my page on enter or shift enter pressing . This grid is binded through SQL DATA SOURCE ...
I have followed the documention for adding a radio button select column to a gridview and all works fine. Except, I am using a wizard where the user must select a value from this table before pressing next. Using the validator is not possible since the radio button is created using a literal. Is Javascript the only way? How can I prevent a user from clicking next using Javascript?

The first column is the select button, 2nd to the 4th are just displaying of data which I have used HTMLdecode to set it to disable the htmlencode so that I could display 2 lines in the gridview. However, after enabling htmldecode. my 2 fields, the select button and the text box columns are not able to be displayed out.
