SPAM I want to design a web site interface as it is shown int this example web site which has a centred image.
I think I should use margin to put the body in the web page. the header and the footer div will be above and under the box.
the last thing is the web page is considered to be resized according to the browsers behaviour. For instance the bigger window the bigger page the slow window the small page. You may check it by resizing the windows size of SPAM how can I do it?

I have a repeater like this:

Now in literal2 I want to get the value from code behind.But I am not able to get the literal2 in code behind.Any idea how to get this?

I use the DetailsView control to display selected employee's data for HR. The list of data elements has gotten pretty long so I thought I'd put some tables & panels inside the ItemTemplate and EditTemplate. Testing with NO code behind in effect works perfectly on display & update. Now I need to manipulate some stuff in the code behind which requires me to cast the controls I'm after. However old cast code doesn't work (it says the row index doesn't exist).
First is a clip of the DetailsView which gives me 3 nice columns.

I'm trying to add an DropDownList to a DetailsView by code, because i'm writing a solution that let's the user select an table and view your records and edit them, some of theese tables, have a foreign key column and the user must have to select some item in the list.
Below is my sample code:

the code above is working correctly, when the user click in the buttons New or Edit , the DetailsView opens correctly, showing the DropDownlist, but when the user click in the buttons update or insert , an error occurs, the viewState cannot be loaded:
Failed to load viewstate. The control tree which viewstate is being loaded must match the control tree used to save viewstate during the previous request. For example, when controls are added dynamically, the controls added during a post must match the type and position of the controls added during the initial request.

This works fine, except I store my font size (thisTempLabel.fontSize) in pixels. I can't for the life of me work out how to convert them (probably impossible) or what to do to resolve this.
They come out sort of right, but not in the right position by a bit and a bit too big.

I am creating an web application for my tae kwon do club. People are able to register online for a tournament. After the registration deadline the web application generates a dendrogram. Something like this: how to draw it. Because of the fact that there are my weight and age categories i have to draw them dynamicly for each group.What is the easiest way to draw this inside a MVC view?

I am generating a pdf file in asp.net c# using itextsharp. i am not able to draw a horizontal line/verticle line/dotted line.
i tried to draw a line using the following code,i am getting no errors but the line is also not getting displayed in the pdf file

What is the problem in the code.Is it because of the position of x y co-ordinates? I had used rough points to know approximate position in pdf,but the line never apears in the pdf file.

How do i import system.drawing into a page. I created a page called pie chart.aspx but instead of just using image of a pie chart i want to use the system.drawings to create a pie chart with atleast 3 distributions or more like, red, green and blue or something. how do i accomplish that. I tried youtubeing and google but nothing really worked. I know its suppose to be in code behind page but how??/

I have a datatable with the following column names
ProviceID, ProvinceName, Year,
TPM, PM 10, PM 2.5, B(a)p
I'm trying to display data from this table in a gridview using template fields. Here's an example of a label in my item template

When i bind data to this grid view, i get an error saying column "PM 2" was not found. For some reason, the program is dropping the .5 from the column name. I am exploring the possibility of replacing the number with alphabets only but this may not be possible as the end user may not find it user friendly. Is there a way for me to get around this problem? I get a similar problem with B(a)p, it drops everything after the B. Any ideas on how to get the gridview to bind column names with special chars in it?

my gridview binds to a datatable and i added a template field to the columns the template field contains a link button. i bind the command argument of this link button to a field from my data table. on the row command event i allow the user to activate his product according to a condition. what i want is how to add a javascript alert if the condition doesn't match. in other words i can't call the hyperlink in the templatefield in order to add a javascript to its OnClientClick attribute.
