Forms Data Controls :: Acessing Dynamically Generated Radiobuttonlist Of Grid?

I have a grid and on each row of grid i generate a radiobuttonlist with 2 items dynamically in rowdatabound. On the save button event i want to access the data of the row and save the data in DB with which ever radio button is selected.I tried different things but all in vain. I tried to use hidden field so that whenever any radio button is selected in a row then in javascript i will update the hidden field but user can select multiple rows so this is not a good solution.

i hav a dyanmically generated gridview with autogenerated columns = true.. i want to change the width of a column of a grid... i tried to do it in row databound event as...
e.Row.Cells[1].Width = Unit.Pixel(300);
but it doesnt work... and since d columns are genrated dynamically i cant set d width as grd.columns[0].width =...
I have a radiobuttonlist inside a datalist itemtemplate and i need to bind the radiobuttonlist dynamically from database I have tried to bind it inside itemdatabound event of datalist but it the result is always duplicated according to the fields in teh database.
for more information:
the database has two columns one for questions and the other is for choices , for the first question with id lets say 1 there are 4 choices, when the radiobutton is binded the result appears to be 4 times duplicated ?
I create a gridview dynamically to fit the contents of a datatable...This form will have other dataatbles thrown at it but for the moment I am only working on one to work out the details of the process.I will post all my code below...the problem is this. The code successfully geenrates the gridview the way I want however...whenever I select a row all the cells including the header cells dissapears [code]...
I'm trying to check dynamically generated "checkbox" value inside Listview.
I can reference non-dynamic checkboxes exact in same location (index) inside Listview using "e.Item.FindControl", however I can't reference dynamic checkboxes.
I have a gridview each line has 4 linkbuttons - Edit , Update , Cancel , Delete and a few columns with data...For example TeamName and TeamEmail, and a hidden column that contains a validator (for ease of validating controls that are found on the same row , same naming container)
When Edit button is Clicked , the specific line goes into editing mode , Texboxes are created for TeamName and for TeamEmail .
I create dinamically (code behind ) a new textbox that reads the value from the TeamEmail textbox , i give it a new id (let's say "Email") , add that email to the controltovalidate property of my validator , and call the validate() method of the validator.
Everything works fine when i modify the value in a worng format , the validator err message appears , when i modify the TeamEmail value to a good email format , the validator property isvalid becomes true , and the update is running , but my textbox is empty :( updating the TeamEmail value to null.

I am stuck in chart controls...Here is my prob... There is a ListBox containing some items...when user selects multiple items from the list box I want to generate a dynamic table with the number of columns same as that of the number items selected in the listbox. And for each selected item I want to show a seperate chart in the columns...Currently I want the same chart control for every selected item (i.e. a static hard coded chart that i will replace later by dynamic values)....I am using a method that draws a chart control using a sample dataset... I am calling it each time when a new column is created..Also the DrawChart method executes for the first column only and throws an index out of range exception! after the first execution...my code is not working...here
I have a "database explorer" page that is desgined to be pointed to an unknown database and allow users to browse the data, so it basically uses the SQL system tables to develop its queries and pull in data to tables using auto-generate columns.The problem that I have is that I would like certain types of columns to have certain formats and I'm wondering the best way to go about it. I could format the column in code in the RowDataBound event I assume, but I'm wondering if there some better standard way to do this? Is there a setting of any kind that I can use? For example I want all of the datetime fields to be formated for short date, like {0:d}, I want decimal fields to have 4 decimal places, etc.

I have a table witch i programmatically fill with(multiple) IDs in the first column, options in the second and checkboxes in the third. The table is in a View as it is part of a wizard and is filled on view_Activate.
How can i get the checked property of the checkboxes when i pass to the next view? When i try to do that on view_Deactivate the table is already 0 rows...
I know i can use i checkboxlist(... whose properties i can get on view_Deactivate) but i'd rather use a table as it is easier to layout as i want it(header, columns, alignment,...).
I'm displaying a table based on query results, and each record has a dynamically generated dropdownlist and submit button (and other controls, but this is simplified). That part works fine, but how do I reference the controls in a function? Here is the code I've tried. Create the controls:

The function SubmitAction_Click fires when I click the Post button, so that part works. I just can't figure out how to reference the selected value of the dropdownlist. You can see that I'm explicitly giving the DDL a unique ID (DS_RecordID). I'm guessing I have to use FindControl to reference it, but I don't know how to format the code.

i am using SQL SERVER 2005 as backend server. in my database i have one table with columns as

My gridview has 3 columns as Opendate,closedate,awarddate.
if user select the radiobutton as manufacturer,only mfropendate,mfrclosedate,mfrawarddate have to bind. and if user select the distributor the remaining 3 fields will have to bind. for that i had write a storedproc as create procedure sp_GetDraftBids as begin select mfropendate as opendate,mfrclosedate as closedate,mfrawarddate as awarddate, distopendate as opendate,distclosedate closedate,distawarddate awarddate from draftbids end GO
i.e i had taken the alias names for that fields so that i will bind the only 3 columns to grid view as opendate,closedate,awarddate.

here i had taken the same alias names as i have to bind only 3 columns to gridview.when i run my application i am getting the records in data table with column names as opendate,closedate,awarddate,opendate1,closedate1,awarddate1.i.e it does not allow the same alias name.
for two radio button conditions i.e for manufacturer and distributor the gridview binded with opendate,closedate and awarddate columns as i had binded the gridview boundfields withat names.
but when user select the distributor radiobutton i have to bind the opendate1,closedate1 and awarddate1 to the gridview. for that should i can i change the storedproc are any other solution is there?
I have a gridview, in an update panel, that's populated by an object data source when the page loads. This same Grid View is going to use a different data source and slightly different columns collection at runtime. The columns collection will be very similar, with one column added and three removed. Is this the best way to do this?
The other solution would be to create another grid view and data source to use when needed. The two Grid Views can be toggled off and on to use the correct one as needed. I've done this and it worked well, as far as I can tell. I'm curious if there are performance implications because of the additional Grid views and data sources. Or, if there are other reasons not to do this.
Which of these two ways is the best way to do this? Should I toggle between the two Grid Views at runtime or modify the grid view(datasource and columns) at runtime in the code behind?
Need row editing on page_load for all the cells and need to validate each cell entry. Means cell1 one entery isvalid it fills thrid cell and insert or update to a table in the database. How do i handle on tab clicking to update in databse.
I want my gridview columns to have fixed width. Even though data is long,i want it to be shown only till the width permits. Further, I want to provide tool tip, so user can see full value in that. I don't want wrap to happen. Fixed width is working but data wraps. I tried all types. But no results.
Now I wanted to hide, that is to make some of the columns visible false.
First how can I do that, Second should I write the code in the same page_load event or I should write the code some where else, cause when I add this line of code
