Forms Data Controls :: Multiple ModalPopupExtenders On The Same Page?

I have a page with a ModalPopupExtender already on it which is working fine. I added a second and third as well by copying and pasting the previous two ModalPopupExtenders and their respective Panels. The first one still works, but the other two do not work at all. I have verified that I changed the names of all controls on the ones I pasted. Is it not possible to have more than one pair of ModalPopupExtender and Panel on the same page?

I have 1 ModalPopupExtender inside a UserControl. Everything works great until I start adding the same usercontrol to the page. I am getting this error message in the javascript console::
Message: Sys.InvalidOperationException: Two components with the same id 'MPE1' can't be added to the application. I understand the error, it obvious that the framework wants unique IDs. What I can't figure out is how to give them unique name.

I have a GridView that refreshes based on user input. The GridView is setup to display data in pages if the number of rows is more than 20.Here is a scenario that I need resolved:When the user selects an item the GridView displays 2 pages of data. The user selects page 2 to view its contents. Next the user selects another item that also has 2 pages. By default the GridView remains of page 2 when it is refreshed with new data. How do I ensure that the GridView defaults to Page 1 when the user clicks on another item? The GridView is databound to the control that the user selects.

i would like to find out how to go about displaying data from multiple database tables on the same page. What i mean is it would look like the feeds on the facebook home page where you can see the information like newply uploaded photo or a new post.
I have two tables, and i want to display any newly created row on my home page from either table in the same control. Currently, i have two gridviews, but i want the data from both tables be displayed together.

I am trying to have a listview which will work like a table with paging. My problem is I need to be able to add more than 1 row at a time. ie I want to click "add new row" multiple times on the same page without the page changing and without the rows I'm adding going away.
Basically I need the user to still see the already inserted rows as well as the rows they are planning to insert on the same page. This would mean the page size is temporarily larger than it should be. The new rows would be added to the end of my data source when the user goes to another page or clicks a separate save button. However the user can add as many new rows while on a page as they wish and the page would simply grow.

I Have A GridView and DataSource with two databound colums and a templateColumn which holds an Imagebutton:

I do however want to pass more than one value using this method.
I've tried this:

But I'm sure my code is not correct @ the Eval declarations as I'm getting an error here...?

Explaination in detail I have a tree view control on left of my page and AjaxToolkit:TabContainer on the right,consisting of 9 tabs in it (I have developed individual controls and added to the tab panels). On selecting a value from the tree view control the I am refreshing the values inside all the tab panels. There is a method reload written on all the controls which are called on tree view click which sets the value of the selected tree item in properties in all the controls and also refreshs them. Its a big performance issue for sure which i need to improve on but that would come later.
My problem
1. In the Main tab (ascx control) consists of asp:chart control which I am populating and it also consists of 2 buttons in which ModalPopupExtender would open up another 2 controls on button click within this control. Now on the tree view click I am calling
the reload of Main Tab which internally called the reload function of these 2 controls also
On Tree view click
Maintab.reload
{
ModalPopupExtender1.reload
ModalPopupExtender2.reload
}
Secondtab.reload
Thirdtab.reload
If I populate the asp.chartcontrol without reloading the ModalPopupExtender1.reload ModalPopupExtender2.reload it works great but when I call both ModalPopupExtender1.reload
ModalPopupExtender2.reload it shows up and goes away.
Any thing i am missing on ? How to make chart control stay on the page and not vanish. I tried making it visible again. The main page contains a chart control which comes and goes away and does not stay only if i comment out the reloading of these usercontrols it stays visible with values on the main page else goes away.
2.Performance problem- I am not sure how to lazy load the content inside the tab panels so that controls should have the selected item for tree view click and can populate thereon.
3. This is how I call my user controls to reload on the treeview click from within the main page.

I have a page in which i need to show data in the form of a grid. Each row in the grid is made up of 2 sub-rows, the first sub-row consists of a dropdown, a textbox & a textarea. Whatever is entered in these controls should be displayed in the second sub-row in the form of labels at runtime (i.e. using javascripts)
There can be multiple rows like this. The grid would have a max of 30 row, not more than that. create this which one would be better, in terms of performance & complexity, a GridView or a DataRepeater?

I have gridview with 3 columns and one textbox in each column. My requirement is when i paste 3 cells of copied data from excel to textbox in first column of gridview automatically 2nd cell data has to be pasted in textbox of 2nd column and 3rd cell data to textbox of 3rd column of gridview. I have two AccessDataSources each returning one row.
I want to use the data in each row to populate content on my page, so I figured I would use a [Code].... or [Code].....
However, I would not necessarily want the labels bound to a particular DataSource placed together.
For example, I might want labels from the following columns in order [Code]....

I have an inventory page with a gridview that shows 1 item per record, each item starts with a checkbox in the gridview. Currently users can select multiple records and hit the order button and everything has worked well. Now I have multiple pages in my gridview, and if a user selects a few records from the first page, and then goes to the second page, all the records (checked checkboxes) disappear from the first page.

I create reports sometimes with a gridview and export the data to excel. Lets say I have like multiple gridviews and I wanted to export each gridview to excel under its own spreadsheet.
So gridview1, gridview2, gridview3 are exported to excel under $heet1, $heet2, $heet3.
I know how to export multiple gridviews to 1 excel sheet but I don't know how to export them separately under their own spreadsheet.
I've been researching online, and i'm continously searching, but does anyone know how to do what i'm trying to do with the gridview and excel or is this not possible?

I've scenerio where i've two dropdownlist box (one dependent on other, displays handset brand name and on selection displays the respective model name), two combolistbox which is bounded to their respective datasource(Displays the fault and accessories).
Now i've to update the three tables booking(Handsetid, Brand,model), accessories(handsetId,AcesoriesID) and fault(handsetID,faultID). Ive to update multiple rows in Accessories and fault.

I am trying to arrange the information from a SQL record into a 3 column by 3 row table to fit the form presentation that I want. I have placed on the page 3X3 table and then tried to place a detailsview in the first cell for the first picture called P1dv.
I have place a detailsview in the last cell that would control the paging of information called Controldv. I need to fiqure out how to link P1dv paging to Controldv page action. I am using visual web dev. 2005. I am not updating or editing these are read only views.

I have created a Web Control in ASP for use in integrating with Telligent CommunityServer. The control is written in ASP with some 10 lines of C# backend for controlling visibility of the UI elements based on permissions, but I'd say 90% of the functionality is straight-up Javascript. The control works beautifully, until you drop two instances of the Control on the same page--since they reference the exact same Javascript functions, only one control works. How can I take this functionality that I have, this 1200 lines of Javascript, and make it so that each instance of the control can reference its each unique instance of Javascript?

i am having two logins,one login for employee and another login for hr,hr wants to create the payslip for every month,if the HR created the payslip for the particular employee,once created the payslip,the employee can login in his account ,if payslip is created it will be displayed in the gridview,in that gridview i provide a print option,,,and pass the employee id using the eval..my problem is,,if the particulare employee having the payslips details in the gridview,it will be order by month wise,if the user wants to take the print,if the employee want to take the print for the month of february,,when the employee clicks the print option by mistake january month record is printed,,i need to print februry as per the employee selection,,,this is my code,form1.aspxin gridview all the months of salary details will be displayed,
