I have added a event for my datalist present inside a update panel as

When the UpdatePanel is updated for the first time, the function 'DataList1_ItemDataBound' is called.But, when the updatepanel is refreshed for the second time, the debugger doesn't reach the same event at all. thus keeping all the data inside the datalist same.
I try to show three image with title through Datalist control. i got all images from database and i binded with datalist control.
below is my aspx design. i need to check the image option wether it is 1 or 2. if imgoption is equals 1 then i need to Resize the im1 width to 450 and also want hide img2 and img3.
is it possible to resize img through itemdatabound.

I add one or more textbox controls to a repeater itemtemplate during OnItemDataBound.
The textbox controls are instantiated and then added to a placeholder.
My problem is getting the user entered values from those dynamically added textboxes. They do not seem to exist in the repeater items collection.

I have a dropdownlisbox  , i am changing the selectedIndex by PageMethod(i.e it will change its  value and text on checkbox status). At that time it don't fire the selectedIndexchange method but when i click the button it fires(i.e on postback).

I have a problem with my first ASP.NET webpage. Im using ASP.NET 3.5 with VisualStudio 2008 and LINQ to SQL.
To easier communication we take a example from northwind data base. I want to list all the Orders and for each order I want to list all its OrderDetails. I have created a listview (lvOrders) with a LinqDataSource (Order table). Now I have create a new nested listview, for the order details, but I dont know how to load the orderdetails in this nested listview. I have tried to load the orderdetails in the OnItemDataBound of the first listview (lvOrders), but I miss functionatilly like DELETE command on the nested listview (to delete a orderdetail) This is my code:

This is my Repeater with event OnItemDataBound to resize image.Actually, sub resizeimage is get image url from Label "Imgurl" to get width and height of image. Then set new width and height to asp:Image "Img" to make a thumbnail.

I am using datalist control on Default.aspx. In that datalist control I have ASP Link Button and the data is fetched from the Database while loading the control. I have a datalist control that is querying a accessdatasource for information that populates the results based on w/e is typed in a textbox. I can't figure out how to pass the information that is populated in the datalist to another page when a button is clicked (inside the datalist item template).
I was able to peform this in Detailsview with a hyperlink using the following arguments:

I have a datalist that loops thru cart items. Within the datalist template I call a user control that has a small form that gets repeated for each item. When this control is called outside of the datalist, the form submits fine, but when called within the datalist the button has no event action. I've tried adding an event handler to ItemDataBound of the datalist, but still no event action. How can I get my form to submit?

The problem is that i have a search page. Access Database holding the information. I have a Access Datasource on the page with a Datalist to show the data. I need to find a way on setting it up to says "Sorry no results found" when the is no results. i am unsure on how to do this though.

In my web form, i am having button named "btnSave" and there are some textbox controls (to name few, Emp Number, Full Name, etc). I've added RegexValidator to the textbox controls as below:

This RegexValidator will check for emp number textbox contains only integers and if not, it will display message "Only integers are allowed". Now, in my btnSave_Click(...) event, i am first validating whether the textbox contains data and if not, then i am highlighting the textbox in red. When txtEmpNumber contains non-integers data and if i click the Save button, the code in inside btnSave_Click(...) event is not getting called. But when i provide employee number in expected format and then click Save button, then the code inside button click event is getting called without any issues.
I am not sure why my btnSave_Click(...) is not functioning when Employee Number has data in incorrect format.
