Is there a way to show multiple rdlc files at the same time that will print together as 1 report? I noticed that the ReportViewer allows multiple <LocalReport> items, but I haven't yet had any success with this.

I have a button in a form that generates a crystal report in a popup window

So this works with no problem, it's been deployed onto a client's server and has been running smoothly, for the first few weeks, until they complained that the report can't be displayed. I logged onto the website, and clicked on the View Report button, and it pops up a blank page instead. No error logs generated despite my try catch blocks.
I did a iisreset, and everything works fine again, until about 3 months later, same problem occured, did a iisreset, works fine. So far this has happened twice, any idea what maybe wrong? It's only the viewing of the crystal report that seems affected, people are still able to login and out normally of the website.
I wanted to know how to prevent more than one user from uploading the report at a time .
This is a Windos based app written in c# . When User A clicks Upload option on one server from the menu to upload the files and at the same time when User B clicks Upload option on different server , User B should be alerted a message saying "User A's uploading is in progress,pls wait" . How to achieve this, with the code..I am thinking this logic should be kept in a stored proc, How do I write that proc?
i hv a table in ms-access that have a column in datetime format.when i add data to this field it get stored in the format dd/mm/yy with time as 12.00.00 am.i m binding this data in grid view.hw can i remove the time from the date as i dont wanna show time in the that column of grid view. i m binding the data in gridview by the template field binding methods

I have been trying to make this work for a while, but I have not been yet able to figure this put. I am using VS 2008 and mysql database. I wrote a query and checked to see if it works in database. It does.
I have a gridview, whose select command is that query. But for some reason, I just get all the rows from one table only. I rechecked my datasource and it is ok. I read on some discussions that it is NOT possible to have data from two tables in a gridview. Is that true? If that is not true, how can I have data from multiple tables in a gridview? Or any other web control for that matter.

Don't tell me to use military time because the function is not "time on a clock"; it's how much time is allowed for a task (in this case the min/max hours & minutes that horses have to complete a 20 mile trail; e.g. 05:00, 05:27, etc). View 6 RepliesI need help writing a class that will contain three values per item. I'll be passing parameters to a report: Parameter Name, Data type (int, string, date, etc), and Value. When I pass those values to the report using the class they should be in original form (i.e. an integer should be a numeric, a string should be a string, etc.).
I can do it converting the data's value to strings on one end, and reconverting to the original data type on the other, which seems like a lot of runaround. Is there a simple way? Also, if I'm able to store & retrieve the data in it's native format I don't need the "Data type" stored.
I have a client request that all times be displayed in Pacific Time Zone, regardless of client settings. I'd like to avoid a scenario where I have to call a function for every time display and instead have a single point where I can make the switch.
I'm thinking a custom culture might do the trick, but I wanted to ask before I set off down a potentially blind alley (or miss something trivially easy).
