I need to access a control inside a repeater and change its properties. To enable it or not. I got an erorr message Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Here is my code inside a method. protected void
rptCAP_ItemDataBound(object sender, RepeaterItemEventArgs e)
{
LinkButton lnDel = (LinkButton)rptCap.FindControl("lnkDelete");
lnkDel.Enabled = false; //<<<<< this is where the error occur
}
The name of the repeater control is id="rptCAP"

I have a composite control inside a repeater. I am trying to set the controls public properties inline like so (this is a simplified example):
<uc1:Control runat="server" ID="id" Value='<%# Eval("value") %>'>
When I place the repeater inside a user control INSIDE ANOTHER user control and onto the page this works - the property is correctly set, if I inspect it inside the EnsureChildControls() method of the custom control the composite control's Value propertyis set to Eval("value") as intended.

I have bootstrap accordion and it is inside repeater,

There is one employee, so the first two accordions is working fine from toggle up and toggle down
SCENARION 2:
There are 3 employees, for the first employee the first two accordions is working, but the rest are not.
So the problem here is when I click the accordion of second employee it does not toggle down but the first employee's accordion is going down.
What I want here is each employee can toggle down and toggle up their own accordions, even though that accordion don't have data.

bounded data is something like this:

How can I get access to attributeid values in Repeater control's ItemDataBound event handler,
I tried to use DataBinder.GetPropertyValue(container,"attribuetid"), but I can't set container, am I doing right, or maybe I should use another approach.

on my page, there are two listboxes,

Basically as the title of this thread states, I have a FormView that has a GridView inside it and my ObjectDataSource that populates this grid cannot access the Grid.
The Control Id needs to be the name of the Grid I want to access, however through the 'wizard' the Control parameter drop down cannot 'see' the grid I need, only the FormView that is in.
I have tried numerous ways to get round this and am struggling now..
I've tried the following...
ControlID="FormView.GridView1"
ControlID="FormView.FindControl("GridView1")
ControlID="<%= GetNameOfGrid %>"
and numerous other attempts that also failed that I now cant remember...

how I access /retrieve values of checkboxlist inside a repeater? My code is below..is it the same as if it was not inside a repeater? My other concern is how do I distinguish these checkboxes because basically what 's going to happen here is based on which checkbox is selected I need to query an xml file to get the location of a folder which I'm then going to zip up and allow user to download..So here's the breakdown. I have an accordion panel using jquery ui. Each panel hold a product and each product has the same checkboxes..so depending on which product the user wants to download files for which he/she will indicate by opening the accordion panel for that product and checking which checkboxes/file they want to download . So how will I know which product the user clicked the checkboxes for being that I'm using this repeater which just one ID?
