I am collecting response for the questions For each answer, total no of responses and their respective Percentage(%) is calculated
Now I have to show this % progress in progress bar
means if a answer have 100% response then progress bar show 100% (100% filled) if it have 50% response then only half of progress bar is filled (50% filled)and so on. response is calculated upto one decimal places(like it can be 33.3% or whatever)and respective % have to be shown in progress bar
So I have to create progress bar dynamically for each response %
How to display % in progress bar, I am using asp.net 2.0 with C#..

Feb 4, 2011I'm using a lovely jQuery plugin to load static images into a thumbnail viewer - the locations are hard coded which doesn't serve us any use other than for a demo.
I've managed to pull the images from our server into a unique folder but I've no idea how to load the images dynamically to the plug in. This is the format for the images in the plug in.

But I don't know how to make this "dynamic". I have the filenames and folder location in C# in my code behind - no idea how to pass this to the jQuery plugin. I can collect the file names and pass to a new ASP page (ie no need to load from the current page).

I want to add a button under the "changing" image when the user click the button (onclick) will fire a protected void event (in aspx.cs page) and the next event will done: 1) a new window will open in some size (height + width) without all the explorer tools (only url address) 2) to put in the url address the querystring + the image name for example: Newpage.aspx clubId=1&galleryFolder=1180120100905&image=imagename.jpg, i know how to get the clubId and the galleryFolder but How can i get the name of the image?

Nov 25, 2010I'm fairly new to ASP.NET but I have developed quite a few WinForms apps in C# where I've used the System.Drawing.Bitmap namespace extensively without much issues.
Today, I decided to write some code to dynamically create some PNGs on the fly in my Page_Load event and everything seems to work fine. But I notice this scary looking warning on the microsoft documentaion site. What is up with that ??
I am unaware of any other ways to deal with images in .Net except using System.Drawing.Bitmap ...

There is two checkbox group which have same datasource, so in both case same checkbox are showing and also same event is firing for both. Here is the event code

The issue I am facing is that the current page URL is getting appended to the 'LinkAddress'(the URL being fetched from the database) and thus,the final URL formed is not a valid one.Can someone suggest how do I remove the current page URL? The data displays in the gridview control fine with both edit & delete options but when I attempt to delete, it has no effect. How do I force removal of the relevant row from both gridview and table? Most of the documentation I have unearthed shows how to achieve this when connected to a SQL table which is clearly not the case here.

Jun 7, 2010Am using datalist to create a kinsd of message board, in the back end am having two tables one for the parent comment , and other for the child comments
The data source is extracted by LINQ to SQL with the load option , so I get everthing when I debug on the code behind , and I can see all the fields each parent comment and the child comments.
the problem is with binding the data on the disply for example all the parent table fildes can be rendred without any problems:

Problem here:
<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Childcomment") %> is not rendred and I got this error msg:
DataBinding: 'DataAccessLayer.Comment' does not contain a property with the name 'childComment'.
In the debug I navigate to the childComment and this is its HTML visualisar:

I was thinking of using a flash gallery as there are some nice free templates online. But I don't know how I will make the flash automatically show new images aswell. Or maybe I should just make a javascript gallery.
