Forms Data Controls :: Can Check That A Row In Datagrid (not Grid View) Is Checked Or Not

I have a data grid and inside that datagrid check box and created using template field.
How can I check that a row in datagrid (not grid view) is checked or not.
For gridview we can use the below in codbehind file,
Boolean isChecked = ((CheckBox)(Row.FindControl("chkDelete"))).Checked;
For datagrid how to achieve this...
My aspx code is

I was trying to find out if there are any check boxes checked in the datagrid, if non of them is checked it should show me an alert to select atleast one.
My problem starts when there is paging in datagrid...
not able to check the entire datagrid at a time in itemDataBound event for the checked check boxes.

I have added a template field in a gridview. In that i have added a radio button. I have written a code which will get row Id of GridView of a row which is having a radiobutton on it checked. Through code i am getting even name of that radio button, but it is showing me that radio button is not checked, even when it is already checked. Here is the code. I am not using any database for data source.I can enter the some value in text box and the entered value is automatically added in the gridview.How can i validate not adding same item numbers in gridview.And i also calculated grand total for amount column.If i remove any records means how to recalculate current total.Any one can tell solution for this issue.I am waiting for reply ASAP.

i have a grid view with some coulmns like Name,Phone no etc with Edit,Delete column in grid view. I click a row in grid view to Edit,it goes another page where i can edit all fields .Once i update i redirect the page to gridview. I want the grid view to remain in that particular page say 4 of the grid view

It happened to add an extra Gridveiw Header in row_databound event , It did worked fine on !Postback but disappered on Page.Postback . Quick google search guided me to move the event to Row_Created event and every thing is okay .
Can any expert post some pointers , differnces between grid row_created vs row_databount with some sample table data created dynamically behaviour of both the events in !Postback and page.Postback .

I am doing a online web application whereby user is able to enter in new template as well as search for template. The Add template is located outside the grid view and if user clicks on the button, it will load the grid view that is populated with data as there is a row of empty fields at the bottom. However when I click on the Add Template button, the grid view does not appear.
This is my business logic that I used it to search for records as well to click on the Add Template button to add in new records:

I am using following code on SelectedIndexChanged of Dropdownlist in GridView for filling txtCallCompletion.Text. When i am selecting first time it is coming correct and i am changing value of txtCallCompletion then i am selecting second checkbox then previous checked checkbox's txtCallCompletion value will be same as it is.

I have a gridview that returns several records for the same user and each record has a column with a check box. I need to allow the user to choose only one to check. Also one check box is always supposed to be checked. What is the best way to do it? I was thinking of writing a stored procedure that checks if only one is checked, and then returns true or false. I think there is a more efficient way to do it...

This morning I posted a question w.r.t Radio Buttons, but the requirement changed so I'm posing a similar question.
I want to have a checkbox in a datagrid.
Suppose I click on one of the checkboxes and then realize i need to click on another, the screen has to automatically uncheck the previously clicked checkbox and then check the newly clicked checkbox.
In other words I need to clear previously checked checkboxes and check the recently clicked checkbox.
Also, I need to update a label in the page with a value associated with the row of the checked checkbox.
I should not be using a javascript to do this.

I have the Grid with Check box. here i want the Total of checked rows "CheckAmount".checkamount is one column in the grid i am able to getting the Total in single page(grid page=1). i am not able to getting the total of "CheckAmount" in multiple pages like (Grid Page=1 and Page=2 ) when i go to the second page i am not getting the 1st page Total.

Have a GridView with a templated select button hidden and using
e.Row.Attributes.Add("onclick",Page.ClientScript.GetPostBackEventReference(this.grdMaster, "Select$" + e.Row.RowIndex.ToString())); to select a row .
When user like to update the datasource he will select one row from gridview then in selected indexchanged event i would display the selected row values beneath the form under the grid , Then user will update the contents displayed from grid and click an update button which is outside the grid . After updating the displayed row , i got to get the values of the next row in the grid and display them for next updation , i'e if users maually selects row 3 from grid then he can update the values using the update button and then on update click itself i'll have to display next row contents of row 4 and this process could go on .
