How do I need to change the last line of the code to set the parameter and delete the record that is checked. The code I am referencing is the one near the bottom that begins with SQLDataSOurce2.Delete.

How to write Grid view line in code behind using function
i'm beginning with a little question. So i have this scenario

So i have a Linq object named TCategory. When the user wants to edit this object he will have 2 fields id and categoryName and when he press update the UpdateCategory function will receive an already made object of TCategory type storing the data user has typed. The problem is that i also want to let the client to change the id of the object so i need to pass to the function the actual Id and the TCategory object. How can i do this?

I'm trying to change one section in code from DataGrid format to GridView format. The reasoning is that the sample application that was displayed was using a DataGrid even though it should have been using a Gridview for 2.0 and above. Most of it shows up without an error except one line in 3 lines which are pretty much the same. I bolded them and just want to know how do I re-write them for the Gridview?

I have a gridview that loads with a new datasource on button click event. On the gridview (which is located in a table columm incidentally) are 2 columns, a descriptor and a checkbox. The problem is that after postback, the column widths change, the checkbox column expands and the other column contracts. Is there a way to keep the gridview column sizes the same after postback?

How do you use the http POST method with a Grid View on another page. I am trying to use the POST method to send the ID from the selected row of a Grid View, I am using a link button set to fire the select command and it has the Post Back URL set, from one page and then retrieve the ID value on another page using an Object Data Source. I am making asp.net website. In that there is a link button (named Landline number).Below that there are three textboxes. And after that there is one horizontal line.
Now at a first time only link button and horizontal will be visible, and textboxes which is bellowed to link button will not be visible. Now if user will click on the link button then textboxes which is bellowed to link button will be visible. Then horizontal line which is at the first time bellowed to the link button should be adjust to its location and should go after textboxes.
And if user clicks to link button again then textboxes should be visible false. And horizontal line should be displayed its original position that is bellowed to the link button. Of course I am able to do with visibility of textboxes but I can not understand how to change the position of the horizontal line dynamically?
