i have small thumbnails of images displayed in datagridview taken from the database , now i want to show them on another page in bigger size ... but i dont know how to do it ?

The select item for the 21 row is the same as the select item of the 22 row3. When trying to do selectedIndexChange for the 22 row, it didn't seem to work.The error:

The rowID keep staying at 20 even though the selectedIndexChanged is happening in row 22( ie. rowID should be 21)
I have a datareader that returns a few fields (orderid, customer id, customername, location, total amount - as an example) that is bound to a datagrid on an asp page. The datagrid simply displays customername, location and total amount and has 2 buttons
below it labelled 'Add New' and 'Edit' and I would like the following to happen:
1) when a user clicks on any cell in the datagrid, I want that row to be highlighted in someway so that the user is aware of the highlighted row.
2) If the user then clicks on Edit button, I want to go to another page that displays the details of that order by passing the orderid of that row to the next page.
The idea is that the user selects a row on the datagrid and then clicks edit which will take them to another page where they can edit/updated details but I'm not sure how I can pass a value of a selected row in a datagrid to another page. I am aware that you can add a template column with buttons on but I would like to have one set of buttons rather than have buttons on each row of the datagrid.
Is there a way to make a hyperlink column in datagrid on the fly... I have a search page and would like the user to be able to click a button to few full contents about the item for editing, etc.

The clsNoteID has a DataType of uniqueidentifier. I was wondering if the clsNoteID passing through the QueryingString has to be suround by a single quotes. If so, how do implement the single into my HyperLink control?
I would like to make the datagrid bound column to hyperlink for redirecting to the details page .
For example , when my mouse over certain row of bound column in datagrid , it will change the colour to blue . Also , I can click it and redirect to the detail page .
Notes : I don't wan to use hyperlink column
In Datagrid if we are using template column and we have hyperlink and this will have only view or edit whether we can sort it. If so how.
View 4 RepliesI also have a working application that popukates my datagrid with valid data rows from my DataBase. What I cant figure out is how to get each of the hyperlink lables to NAVIGATE to the correct and corresponding aspx page!
For example I have 5 rows in the datagrid and each row has its own hyperlink, each row contains contact and a short profile on 5 diffrent companies. For example when i click on let say row 3 that has (eg) Jimmy's Big Prawn's Restaurant listed in the the datagrid, I want to be navigated to a webform page dedicated to Jimmy's Big Prawn Restaurant.

I am working with a DataGrid for my shopping cart and I have a column with the image of the item:

However when I click my Edit Column my image dissapears and turns into just a red X.
I am having a bit of frustration trying to display an image save in a folder after upload in a datagrid. The image path is being return but the image does not displays. When I check the image properties is empty. THis is what I've been trying.

I would like the selectedvalue of the dropdown to display additional data base on its selection in multiple text boxes.
I have tried using the DropDownList OnSelectedIndexChanged property, within a DataGrid EditiItemTemplate, but I cannot retrieve data from the selection. (AutoPostBack is "True"). I can however use a button onclick event to fire a "prre-defined" selection value.

When I click on the "selected" column in the row I want, I just get the The page cannot be displayed message in my browserIs there something I need to do to make the rows "selectable"
