I have the following code for my radiobutton selectedindexchange, i have a hidden field in the gridview with the cid( which is the unique id for the records, the last column in the gridview is the radiobutton and i want to update my record with the value of that radiobutton.

I have a Gridview that provides the user the student name for a particular class, a dropdown list to enter grades. If a grade of 'U' is given, a textbox appears in which the last day of attendance must be listed.
It works... though not as conviently as it could; the faculty would like to be able to tab from one dropdownlist to next in succession.
On each ddlGrades changes I write the value to the database and if a 'U' was chosen, display the textBox... but I can't figure how to set focus on the next ddlGrades control, or even the same ddlGrades control that initiated the postbock.

User double clicks on a grid and a new Window Opens...User enters information and then I am going back and updating parts of the record.Once the code comes back from client-side onDblClick I am expecting the SelectedIndexChanged method to fire (so I can do additional server side processing) but it doesn't. I've tried many different ways to try to get the selectedIndexChange to work for my dropdownlist. It doesn't seem to work, when I debug, I can see that the page is doing a PostBack but the method that suppose to be taking care of the select index change doesn't seems to be fired. When the page is shown, the textbox are filled correctly, this textbox are filled with the "primernombre" and "segundonombre" properties from the persona class. After this, If I change the textbox, and after click the update button, I need to update the persona class with the changes from the textboxes, then I call a ActualizarPersona method for updating the database. They will all share the same Heading, but each will have a different footer. When the user wants to edit this object he will have 2 fields id and categoryName and when he press update the UpdateCategory function will receive an already made object of TCategory type storing the data user has typed. I have 3 buttons that change the Information being displayed in my Gridview (Previous, Today, Forward). Now management wants to SUM the Date's information by column, I have figured out how to do this by changing the BoundField to a TemplateField and then add a FooterTemplate with a SQL DataSource. When I Press either the Previous or Forward button the data does not change in my Sum'd Footer column.

I have a details view with buttons in the footer. When the user clicks the edit button the calls the ChangeEditMode() method. I want to change the mode of the details view to edit mode which seems to work fine. It goes into edit mode with a text box. I also want it to set the visible property of the edit button to false and set the visible property of the update button to true. Then while still in edit mode the user can click the update button that will call the appropriate method to persist the changes.
I got the changemode() to change to edit but can't change the visible property of the buttons correctly. This is what I have so far. Can some one please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I've a gridview with one textbox column and 1 label.
Based on language selection im changing master page and gridview will be bind with data based on language from database . When change the language the labels will be binding with data based on language . but textbox value is not binding properly.i.e;for example  i've 2 languages English and Arabic . First i've logged with English Language gridview is binding correctly after chnage language to Arabic the textbox value is not binding is displaying with data previously whatever binded with english language. Other than this textbox remaining  label data bindind with data in arabic language.

I have a parent gridview which has a child gridview in the itemsTemplate. Both are binded to different SqlDataSources. I can successfully update and delete rows in the child gridview. After updating in the child gridview, some related data in the parent gridview are not updated automatically. So i have placed ParentGridview.Databind() in the rowupdated event of child gridview. But it doesnt look working.

I would like to ask a question on the visual basic codes to loop the gridview to retrieve the values and based on the values, it will be provided as parameters to update to the database table using stored procedure.
Firstly, I have a gridview named grvProduct. The page (ui) will be loaded with data from the database with the use of stored procedures. And only certain values can be edited through the use of template in gridview. So based on those edited values, I'm supposed to pass these values as parameters to the stored procedure which will then update a database table.
Let say, I have 3 records retrieved from the database and displayed in the gridview. And I would like to edit a values in the 3 records, how do I do batch update and pass those parameters to the stored procedure? I went to debug and step through the visual basic codes and realised there were too many arguments specified because I actually loop the gridview.

I have a query . I want to edit the grid view columns in which user click the edit button he will edit the column in the grid and after that i want to add update button so that when he clicks on updates button after editing the row.
