JQuery :: Toggle Multiple Divs / Failed At Each Attempt To Put Code In A 1 - 6 Loop To Hide All Divs?
Jan 31, 2011I was just after some help to put the following code into a loop. I have 6 div's with id's ImgDetails1 - ImgDetails6 and 6 buttons
with id's 1 - 6
if 1 is pushed it should hide the other divs but ensure div1 is shown. the same applies for every other
div.
I can do this the long way writing logic for each div but I am not the best with js and have failed
at each attempt to put the code in a 1 - 6 loop to hide all divs except the one selected and make sure that is shown.

Forms Data Controls :: Display Divs Side By Side In A ListView?
Jan 23, 2010I'm trying to customize a ListView control to display like a GridView so that I can enable users to see and update multiple database records at a time.
In the ItemTemplate I've encased all the fields in divs with a style class that would give each div a set-width and left & right borders so that all fields would lineup like a column, however the divs display underneath each other rather than side by side. I tried nesting all the "field divs" in a <p></p> but this doesn't work.
I've spent much time Googling my question and haven't been able to find a clear answer. I'm teaching myself ASP.Net on my own with books and online tutorials and these materials have not shed much light on this particular issue either as of yet.

My issue is that the first row of data in my db table does not seem to be output to my ListView control when I run the page. The first item in the ListView control is the 2nd row of my db table.

Jan 20, 2010I have 3 columns in a GridView. The first is a templatefield with a button in it and then other 2 are just plain data from the database. Currently when I try to render the HTML from the GridView I see all 3 columns, but I only want to see the plain data fields. I have seen the answer as:gvQuotes.Columns[0].Visible = alse;But that doesn't work for me, because I still want to keep the first templatefield column on my page.

Mar 31, 2011 I want to click a new record button and my modal pop up pop up and my DetailsView is inside it. The reason I want to do this is so I don't have load it on page load since it will make my page slow, and secondly bcause this detailsview is used for new record and has a lot of validation controls so I have another method for my main GridView on whose select method I pop another DetailsView to edit tht row and that DetailsView has a validation method who won't allow any control on page that isn't validatd. So obviously if I load this new record (this is the 2nd DetailsView) on page load, that other GridView I won't jbe able to edit since that method won't be true since this new record DetailsView boxes will not be validated if they are blank.
So to get around this, I made the modal pop up panel invisible and the new record DetailsView visible=false so it doesn't render on page load but rather on button click. So all I want to do is click newj record button and this pop up panel pops and my DetailsView shows up. Right now it seems to load, but nothing shows. This is what I have:

Forms Data Controls :: Formview Disappearing After Update And Will Not Render Anytime After?
Jul 18, 2010As noted above everything appears fine until update button is clicked. The page refresh is blank - the formview displays no data. What's strange is that when I go back to that page the formview will not display data. The data is in the database, updated as expected. I tried rebinding on postback, nothing. The empty template is displayed.
