How To Retrieve Back Editable Values In Text Boxes Added In Place Holder

I've created 3 buttons, first button is to load the values in textboxes added to placeholder. Then button2 is to extract the data from button 1 and display out. Now the 3rd step, I want to edit the values from the textboxes, after edit, how do I grab and display out the new values in label and textboxes?

i am using above code to generate dynamicaly textbox into grid view. I have 3 fix coloumns from database which i fetch at start of code.
Then i assigned it to datatable. in datatable according to Listbox item count i added more coloumn as per listbox items count.
then that datatable i i gave as datasourse to gridview. Now i inserted dynamicaly textbox to gridview in respective coloumn.
But after refreshing page all textboxes disappears....
I'm putting together a help page for my web app and figured that rather than the usual 'Help' file stuff, I could put a short video help file along with an explanation.
I have a page with around 12 topics, I'd like the user to be able to click a link and it shows a video clip (either .avi or mov file) on the page. It would be cool if the movie placeholder just showed the link to the movie that was clicked rather than a new page each time.
Just getting started on ASP .NET and I have a question. I've created a user control that is show's an image. Using a place holder I add 5 items of that control. The problem is that in the display it shows me the control's vertically and I want it to be shown horizontally. I wanted to show: 1 2 3 4 5 I've tried a few thing's such as using a table - but the table expands with the place holder so It didn't make a differences.
I want to have only 1 placeholder on the page and depending on which buttons are pressed, different user controls are dynamically added. To add to the fun of everything, I need to pass in different values for each user control.
I know that in order to have the values passed into the different user controls and bind to a certain list it needs to happen in the Page_Init inside of the .ascx.cs file - aside from that, I am lost.
Using C# and SQL as the database.I have a page with a gridview and some text boxes and drop down list boxes. A user selects a record from the grid view I query the database and fill the text boxes and drop down list boxes.
Some fields get updated periodincally thus there is no data in those fields in the database until some time.
A strange thing happens.When filling data some text boxes gets a one tab spacing .

I have a default page which has a content place holder on it...It defaults to the master.aspx page. Anyroad I attempt to put the loginview there but I can't seem to resize it. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I also put an ajax control in the loggedintemplate and I can't seem to resize that properly either.
how to iterate through all the controls in just my Content place holder ? What I'm looking to do is to Enable/Disable all the controls in my Content place holder (WEbControls as well as HTML Controls).
i have one web page (test) and two masterpages (master_1 & master_2).
the test's masterpage is determined by querystring, so far it's working fine. both master pages have a set on links in content place holder area, but is it possible i can hide the content place holder where my links are, from one of the masterpage when my test page loads, because i don't wish to use the links in the masterpage for my test page. i don't want to delete the links either as i'll need them later on.
User enters values into text boxes (personal information etc.) and then presses a save changes button. The values in these text boxes get stored in an SQL database. The problem I have is that when updating the database using the values from the text boxes, the page refreshes and the values in the text boxes are lost (or rather they return to the values that are already in the database as the data from the database is loaded into the text boxes on Page_Load). When I update the database using valuse stored in variables it all works fine. What is the best way to update with the values from the text boxes?
I am hoping this is not a silly question but I have been struggling to find an answer. I have created a web application to insert data into SQL database using T_SQL and stored procedures as I needed to update several tables at the same time. The design of a particular page is using text boxes and dropdown list's and not the default gridviews or details view as I wanted the page structure set out in a particular way. Anyways I now want to create an update page which I will get redirected to from a search page.My question is how do I assign the column values to text boxes or Dropdown lists from my Select statement. I was thinking of having a event in the page load method. Sort of like this 'Select InvoiceID, Invoicetype, Notes FROM TblInvoice Where Invoicenumber = @Invoicenumber " the parameter value @Invoicenumber will be assigned via the search page so I will also need to pull that in on the page load event. So my page would look something like this if say the:-
how to write this in a code behind page. I would then click a button to update the values if I changed them and write my update statement for the button click event which I know how to do .
i am using vs2008. 1/ i am placed a datagrid control, a textbox and a server side button are inside the CollapsiblePanelExtender.
2/ The collapsible panel Extender placed inside the updatepanel.
3/ outside of updatepanel i have another button("next page") to redirect to next page.
When the page is loading, i am displaying all the records in datagrid. For an example 100 rocords. if i entered some values in textbox and click the button it fetches searching result based on inputs and displaying it in datagrid (for example searched result 20).
Now, I click the button "next page" it redirect to next page. if the user click the browser back button, i need to keep the datagrid to show only searched result. but Instead of that, it displaying all the records(100 records). how to resolve this?
i want to create a few textbox dynamically in place holder but when i created and click on btn and use findcontrol to retrive input data that created dynamically storing data in db , i will receive an error like this :

The master page has a content place holder (ContentPlaceHolderID="MainContent")
I have a default page (default.aspx) with a VB code behind which pulls some data.
What I'd like to be able to do is write my data to that place holder for example:
<b>theData</b>
This is a simplified example of what I'll be doing but the part I can't figure out is how to write the content directly to the place holder on the master page from the code behind of the default the page.
