In my Development Environment, I can see my Image on my web form, but when I build my application and copy to Local Host,
Images are not showing on both browser Internet Explorer and FireFox.
Is there setting for this?
I have a simple web page as below named eventviewer.aspx. I host it in a server under the default website and when i browse it from the INETMGR it opens and displays teh events.
But when i try to open it from another machine, by reqyestiung the page, it just shows the heading and not the grid. Can you provide some inputs??

I have set the div property to the same size in the .css file: 1246 * 1488
In the image I have some written text. But now when I open this up in the browser, the image is a bit wider wich makes this text "Blurry"

Whenever there is a configuration error inside the web.config, the server sends a yellow screen of death to the browser with a few lines around it. My problem is I am using impersonation and I don't want the users to see the impersonating username/password. So how can I prevent the server from showing the web.config code??
View 1 RepliesI am using a Webgrid as part of an MVC 3 app. The weird thing is the first display of the page with the grid displays fine but when I click on a heading to sort, the grid is not displayed as part of the page when I am running under the web server provided by the VS 2010 installation. When I do a View Source of that page, all of the grid stuff (as table elements) is there to be displayed. It just does not show up in the browser. So, I wrote the html to a file and copied the javascript and css files to the same folder and then ran the file under IE and everything displays as it should.

It may sound weird, but is it possible to write view to disk as a file instead of showing in the browser. The reason is that, business wants functionality to send the same view file as email attachment to the user.

I am using VWD 2010 beta 2 and Ajax toolkit 3.031106, the problem is mainly the calendar extender.I have the controls in my new tab but cant drag the calendar extender (just get the crossed black circle cursor). Some control I can drag down other not and none of them shows when I look at the page in my browser.there are no errors displayed at all.

when the function returns ssl value, if it's not empty, then the master page redirects to the new url... but the browser is not showing it...
In one page I have image controls that are showing pics from the web site. This works fine but sometimes, and randomly some pics are not shown. I guess this issue could happen because Im using the IIS 5.1 in my development enviroment and it could be denying some requests. Anyway, I dont know exactly what is happening, so i request help of those who have workaround this fixture.

I created an image control on the page and I load that with the picture I want to display. The problem I have is, as it updates itself I get an blank page for a second or two. using asp.net/vb.net 2005. when I am in VS and I run the application I have a .net Image control where I am displaying an image programmatically and when I run this in VS all works well, the image displays.
I have the site setup in IIS now on the dev server however the problem is when I run this program from there, just navigating to the [URL] then I can run the program and not getting any exception, however I am not seeing the image when I click the button to view the image. The code is something like this: [Code]....
again this shows ok when I am in the application in vs.net in debug mode but not showing at all when I just open a broswer window and view it as a user would, has anyone seen this before?

The trouble is the image is not showing up. I have used this code on other projects and it worked well. For some reason the Eval function is not evaluating the image location, yet in the alternate text it workd just fine.
I am using vs 2008 in asp.net.. I have a field of [product_pic] which is 'varchar(50)' in my table.. my problem how can i show the image in datagridview? I can only the text which is the file name of the image..

I've got an aspx page that streams jpeg's. It sets the content type and then writes to the response stream. If I view the images directly they work a treat, but if I use fancybox 1.2.6 I get the following.Using fancybox 1.2.1 the images do show.Here is the code that is pushing out the image.

I have two themes in my .Net application, both use the same background image. Both have an images folder with this image in them, both have style sheets. One works and one doesn't but ONLY when deployed in IIS in a Virtual Directory scenario so there is an added /MyApp/ directory.
I can't seem to even trick the one that doesn't work into finding the image. My style looks like this:

I wanna show large image whenever I hover mouse on it without using java script.
I am defining custom css styles for tabcontainer and accordion. Somehow I am not able to set the background image.. I mean the background image does not show up at all. Everything else works fine... fonts, background colors, padding etc.. but the background image won't show.For example, in the css file I have:
