I am using VWD 2010 beta 2 and Ajax toolkit 3.031106, the problem is mainly the calendar extender.I have the controls in my new tab but cant drag the calendar extender (just get the crossed black circle cursor). Some control I can drag down other not and none of them shows when I look at the page in my browser.there are no errors displayed at all.

Whenever there is a configuration error inside the web.config, the server sends a yellow screen of death to the browser with a few lines around it. My problem is I am using impersonation and I don't want the users to see the impersonating username/password. So how can I prevent the server from showing the web.config code??

I have a grid bounded to a datatable. Suppose the data for a column is like this "New Task 12:45AM-01:00AM Testing" . I need it displayed in a single row of the column. But it is wrapped to next row and subsequent row whenever space is encountered (If I give without space like this NewTask12:45AM-01:00AM then it is possible. I tried for ItemStyle-Wrap='false" not working for my scenario... Is there anyway out to solve this issue.

I'm running an ASP.NET ver 4.0 website on Windows Server 2003. Everything was working fine, until I uploaded a new version of the site tonight.I have a new version of the website on my local box, with so many changes that I decided to remove all the existing files on the live site, with the exception of the web.config.Then I uploaded all new files (except the local version of my web.config) from my local box to the live site.
Afterward, when I browsed to the site and tried to use the standard Account/Login.aspx page, all my server code in the code-behind file was displayed in the browser!What would cause this? It *seems* like that would be a server-configured issue, but after I rolled the website back to the old files, everything worked again!

I am trying to populate two text boxes which have calendar extenders with todays date. While the text box of the first control is getting the correct date, the second one is loading up blank! But if i click on the control the ajax date picker that is shown has todays date highlighted in it.

View 2 RepliesI have been working on this project for weeks. Every thing was fine. But all of sudden today, I got this error: Page cannot be displayed when I was trying to debug as usual.
I searched online for solution. Only one solution was found at [URL]. But when I followed its steps, I found in my hosts file, it is already like this: 127.0.0.1 localhost
I cannot continue to work without testing finished form pages.
In my Development Environment, I can see my Image on my web form, but when I build my application and copy to Local Host,
Images are not showing on both browser Internet Explorer and FireFox.
Is there setting for this?

this works great for explorer 8 , firefox, chrome but on explorer 7 my page just jumps to the left and doesn't show the popup at all.
If I remove the set__parentElementID call, then the popup is displayed but in the wrong position (of course).
I have a simple web page as below named eventviewer.aspx. I host it in a server under the default website and when i browse it from the INETMGR it opens and displays teh events.
But when i try to open it from another machine, by reqyestiung the page, it just shows the heading and not the grid. Can you provide some inputs??

Explaination in detail I have a tree view control on left of my page and AjaxToolkit:TabContainer on the right,consisting of 9 tabs in it (I have developed individual controls and added to the tab panels). On selecting a value from the tree view control the I am refreshing the values inside all the tab panels. There is a method reload written on all the controls which are called on tree view click which sets the value of the selected tree item in properties in all the controls and also refreshs them. Its a big performance issue for sure which i need to improve on but that would come later.
My problem
1. In the Main tab (ascx control) consists of asp:chart control which I am populating and it also consists of 2 buttons in which ModalPopupExtender would open up another 2 controls on button click within this control. Now on the tree view click I am calling
the reload of Main Tab which internally called the reload function of these 2 controls also
On Tree view click
Maintab.reload
{
ModalPopupExtender1.reload
ModalPopupExtender2.reload
}
Secondtab.reload
Thirdtab.reload
If I populate the asp.chartcontrol without reloading the ModalPopupExtender1.reload ModalPopupExtender2.reload it works great but when I call both ModalPopupExtender1.reload
ModalPopupExtender2.reload it shows up and goes away.
Any thing i am missing on ? How to make chart control stay on the page and not vanish. I tried making it visible again. The main page contains a chart control which comes and goes away and does not stay only if i comment out the reloading of these usercontrols it stays visible with values on the main page else goes away.
2.Performance problem- I am not sure how to lazy load the content inside the tab panels so that controls should have the selected item for tree view click and can populate thereon.
3. This is how I call my user controls to reload on the treeview click from within the main page.
