JQuery Hover Does Not Work Mozilla?

I have the following Snippet of code.The hover has a problem in Mozilla - It changes color on hover but some times it does not revert back when we go out.Mind you it only happens sometimes.Also in such cases if I examine the HTML using FireBug I can see that the Extra Class is assigned even after hover is out.It works OK on IE .This is a simplified versionAlso as you can see I am setting color on the TR.But this does not change the Color on TextBoxes inside TR. How can I make sure the background color of the Controls contained in the TR is also changed on hover.

Trying to find in the internet and in this forum answer to my problem, I created a compositecontrol where a Menu control is created when this custom control (.dll) is loaded and generated at runtime, no problem, as menu control is generated ok, but having problem with spacing between MenuItems and Hover won't work. I am using XmlDataSource to supply data to the Menu Control (menu item data comes from a xml).
I am trying to set width of the rendered page elements, to control spacing it does not work, and also set a "hover" css class to mnuCtrl.StaticHoverStyle.CssClass and mnuCtrl.DynamicHoverStyle.CssClass and it doesnot work.

At page level I have set EnableEventValidation="false" and at Page_load below code is written:

Above coding is fine in IE but it does not work in Mozilla.
What could be the reason?and what is the solution on this?

I am using update panels with Update mode conditional in by aspx page. The page is functioning properlly in the IE.8.0 but the page content is not posting when i open it in the Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
FYI I am using Update panels for drop down lists and buttons and in the triggers also i am using similar controls.

I want to fire the hover() for all classes with class="myClass". I have placed the below code:

The problem is .hover() fires for td element in table "t2" but not for "t1".

I have a simple page with 4 thumbs. All I want to do is when the mouse is hovering over a link, the thumb to move up like it's hovering. When the mouse leaves the link, then the the thumb moves down to it's original spot.
I can't seam to find any tutorials on how to create that effect. I tried bing and google but none of them are what I'm trying to do.

I had problems with jQuery fancy checkbox plugin [URL]
However after that I want to "combine" 2 plugins, the one mentioned in first post:

So I've changed the picture of checkbox and wanted to add hover effects as it is shown in second link (according to state of checkbox).
However since I'm quite noob with jQuery (and JS) the thing only works fine on "default" mode, when checkbox is not selected or checked on page load.

In my Application i write one javascript function as

its working fine in IE but in firefox mozila that save as window is not comming.

I think my main problem is actually more to do with master pages that anything else.. Below is a description:
If you use master pages in your website and you have pages in different sub directories then the simplest way to add JQuery references is using <script src='<%# ResolveUrl ("jq.js")%> /> in the master page header??
This means that the .js files are correctly referenced in all pages that use the master. My main problem is that intellisense only seems to work for JQuery when the JQ Script is actually referenced in the header and not by using ResolveUrl('') <script src="/scripts/jq.js" />
I dont want to have to live without intellisense, Surely there is a way to get around this. What am I doing wrong.

I have a page which retrieves information from the database when the page loads. It does this via jQuery AJAX once the page has actually loaded. Everything works fine on my VS dev server, but it when I put it on our site it doesn't work. If I use the javascript console in Chrome it says Failed to load resource 500 internal server error for each AJAX request.
The site I am working on uses SSL does this interfere with AJAX posts? The AJAX is just requesting a static method from the code-behind so its not going outside of the SSL domain.

I am getting started with DotNetNuke and when I try to use jQuery the same way I use it in any standard ASP.NET page it does not work. For example I am trying to use uploadify which uses jQuery and flash. I can't even get the cancel button to show in the control.
By now I understand there must be a workaround and it is different than simple asp.net

I am using jquery in my application.. I have a page listing 10 students in database.. as name and view profile. name is the name of the student and view profile is a link for viewing students profile. There is a link for each student. When i click a link, a jquery dialog appears & shows all details of the particular student whose link is clicked.nce
request goes to server it returns some data, this time just say "hello [username]" and this data is assigned dialog so that the dialog shows the response from the server..verthing
is ok.. but in Firefox and Safari, once dialog is displayed, I close the dialog using its close button then the whole page is displayed as dialog and repeates this forever IE and opera are working correctly

I am trying to get JQuery events to work with partial views in ASP.NET MVC. However, after you load a partial view through Ajax, JQuery seems not able to fire events for any of the elements in the partial view. I suspect that this issue will also happen if you are using other frameworks or JavaScript libraries to load partial html code with Ajax.
For instance, consider the following example:
Controller:

Once the page loads for the first time, you can click on the "Click here to display a Javascript message" and you will get a Javascript alert message that says "button clicked". However, once you click on the "Click here to load partial view", clicking on the button that is supposed to bring the Javascript alert message doesn't have any effect. It seems that the 'click' event is not being fired anymore.
why this issue occurs with JQuery and how to fix? This issue also occurs with other JQuery plugins that use events.

Where the id = datepicker tells the javascript to attach all the datepicker code to the form element, how do I turn this into a server control?
For example:

Doesn't work because ASP.net generates it's own ID's.

Using MVC 3 RTM and MvcContrib/FluentHtml version 3.0.51.0, I can't get the jQuery client side validation to work. Server side validation works fine, and returns showing the correct validation summary, etc. But the form post always tries to hit the server-side post controller action when it should have stopped on the client side to display the validation error.
I tried replacing the MvcContrib ModelViewPage with the default Mvc ViewPage and it still didn't work.

I designed a simple site with some css and jquery. All the css is in the header using and the javascript files are in a folder called Scripts and referenced in my site like below. Everything is beautiful locally, but on the server some objects such as a couple of my divs are out of their original positions, and my dropdown menus that use jquery don't work properly but they do work somewhat (like they slide down or fade). I have made identical folder structure in root on the web server. I am using .NET 3.5 and the server does support it.
Do you guys think it can be a path issue for my scripts? What could cause the css to move divs out of position? Does css or jquery behave differently on different servers?
