Im working on the web where user can make a new post a then leave a comments to each post I've done it so far
I have a WCF web service and jQuery AJAX implementation that appears to be working perfectly, save for a single line of code: the AJAX calls to the WCF service only have the correct HTTP header & content information if I use GET in my AJAX calls. Once I choose to use POST, the WCF service response with "Method Not Allowed". The calls are coming from domains such as sub1.domain.com, and calling svc.domain.com. How can I configure WCF to allow the cross domain AJAX POSTs?

We are developing an application where we have a Form to fill by users. Here is the scenario for some fields:Name : Does not contain numbers like 123 but it can be alpha-numeric like mynangal123 but does not contain special charactersOB : Does contain specific formats like mm.dd.yyyy or dd/mm/yyy or yyyy/mm/dd etc. doesn't contain alphabetsTAXID : Can be Numeric but not numbers like it can be "123" but not 123 also it can be T-125Now, as per requirement we have to validate or prompt the user for specific input if he/she did not enter the specific entry. Like if in name User enter 123456 then there should be a messagebox to warn "please enter a valid name"Restrictions : We have a option of Javascript but its not recommendable in most of scenario so, we need to create a custom validators or something else which will solve our problem.

View 1 RepliesI am using mySQL. I have separate tables for several languages. When I display the Greek statements I seem to be limited to between 192 and 201 characters. That is not the problem with English, Danish, Dutch, Russian, or Farsi. I am using the same code for each with the only change being which table is opened. (In fact I just took the Dutch code and changed only the name of the table I'm opening to the Greek table and had the same problem.)The problem is that I've also double checked the statements in the table and they are complete, e.g., some have up to 255 characters.

Before I put <httpRuntime requestValidationMode="2.0" /> in web.config I would like to determine, if there is a way to leave the new requestValidationMode.The thing is, that the characters entered in the user webeditor (freetextbox.com) are generating the error as soon as they are passed to the aspx page.It is importand to know that the aspx page contains ValidateRequest="false" in the head-section.

When 3 values are entered the autocomplete panel shows.In the panel the names and surnames of all available people are shown bassed on the value user enters. Bellow each name and surname is picture of each "candidate". However images are stored on another server (using https "protection") and some people don't have picture.

Remote connections directly to the database aren't allowed.I'm using Visual Web Developer 2008 Express on my machine. Our Web site is on a remote hosted server, say 1.1.1.1. We have MSSQL 2005 set up on another remote hosted server, available only through an internal IP, say 2.2.2.2, from the Web server.
