Refer to my this question: Page not redirecting properly, URL rewriting (Asp.NET)
Which is resolved except one thing.
Though I have put the code to eliminate post back for .jpg and other file extension, JQuery at the web page is not working.
<script type="text/javascript" src="JS/jquery.js"></script>
I have written it like the above. I have tried to change the path like
<script type="text/javascript" src="~/JS/jquery.js"></script>
i have a link button in my page with atlas
<atlas:UpdatePanel
ID="UpdatePanel4"
runat="server">
<ContentTemplate><asp:LinkButton
ID="btn_popup"
runat="server"
Font-Bold="True"

I wanna call this jquery function in ASP.NET on button click event
var doRedirect = function() { location.href='http://www.example.com' };
$("#button1").click(function() {
$("#label1").show();
window.setTimeout("$('#label1').fadeOut('slow', doRedirect)", 10000);
});
I have an ascx which contains a submit button for a search criteria and I am trying to call a validation function in a js file I've used throughout the site (this is the first time I'm using it in an ascx).
Now I've just tried this:
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.3.2.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jsAdmin_Generic_SystemValidation.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function () {
[Code]....
Now at first I was getting "Validate() is not a function" in firebug. Since I did that alert testing, I am getting the first alert, then nothing with no errors.
Are beginRequest and endRequest working while sending and retrieving data with jquery? In my observation these functions (see below) are not working anymore. Is this because it's not a real postback?
function pageLoad(sender, args) {
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_beginRequest(beginRequest);
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_endRequest(endRequest);
}
My motto is to call a Java script function at the end of button click code behind. ie, firstly i need to execute the server side function after which my java script function should get invoked. My server side method is as follows
protected string SaveEmbedURL_click()
{
if (txtembedurl.Text != null)
{
School aschool = new School();
aschool.SchoolId = CurrentSchool.SchoolId;
aschool.EmbedUrl = txtembedurl.Text;
SchoolRespository.updateEmbedUrl(aschool);
return "true";
}
}
My Java script function is as follows
function SaveEmbedUrlClientSide() {
admin_CustomizeTheme.SaveEmbedURL_click(true);
$('#lbl_embedcode').removeClass('hide').addClass('show');
$('#embedCode').removeClass('hide').addClass('show');
CopyToClipboard("embedCode");
}
i have a datalist to display the details of item from table "PRODUCTS" of my database, in datalist has link button .. on click on linkbutton i want to store the values (name & price ) of that row in the another table "ORDERS ". I am using jquery -ajax method for it .. but on button click the code work fine and values inserted in table "Orders" without any postback , but its happens only once i;e when i click again nothing happens, no values inserted , neither show any error. .
<asp:DataList ID="DataList1" RepeatColumns="4" RepeatLayout="table"
RepeatDirection="horizontal" runat="server" >
<ItemTemplate>

I have the following jquery function
[code]...
but I need a way of calling the growlUI jquery function from my code behind file in C# rather than clicking on a div in the UI.
Is this possible?
I wonder if I could call a Function in code behind from jquery(client side), not to trigger a jquery function from code behind? I can not use linkbutton and button it must be a A-tag otherwise it loose it's purpose
View 3 RepliesThe code below compare the querystring of any request. But i would like to compare just with "X" request.
Like: If "products.asp?IdProduct=123" or "anything.asp?IdProduct=123" or "whatever.asp?IdProduct=123", the code will execute the function.
But i want that the code execute the function just if is a resquest of "products.asp", for example.

I have a java script function which presents a countdown timer.when the timer reaches zero, I want to somehow activate a function on the server side in the code-behind.I understand it is impossible to directly call a server-side function, but is there a simple way to still fire it?I want to fire the (event-handler) code behind function: protected void ButtonFinish_Click(object sender, EventArgs e).
var _countDowncontainer = 0;
var _currentSeconds = 0;
function ActivateCountDown(strContainerID, initialValue) { _countDowncontainer = document.getElementById(strContainerID);

Has anyone implemented FancyBox to display a form where user can make an entry within a FancyBox dialog? I'm simply displaying an inline form within a FancyBox dialog but my button is not firing.If I do not set to style="display: none;", I can see my form i.e. a TextBox control and a Button control and it works fine. If I set it display: none so that I can show my form within a FancyBox dialog, it doesn't work.

why the first one is not working and second one is ok ?
if "This method is a shortcut for .bind('click', handler)" ( from jQuery documentation)
so why $('.myClass').bind('click', doSomething()); works fine ?
