MVC :: Chart Control Not Rendering Properly In Just One Folder?

I can successfully add graphs to any pages in my MVC solution except any pages within the Project Folder - I have no idea why as the same code works in every other folder - the image of the graph in the Project folder renders just a red cross - can anyone think of anything it could be? - I had a colleague check I wasnt going daft and the code looks the same and the page only has a graph.
I ripped out all the code so that the index page only has a graph within the Project folder and yet it still doesnt render correctly.

I have Two Datalist Control . One is dtlistCat and second is dtlistSeries. dtlistSeries is filled by dtlistCat by dtlistCat_ItemDataBound method .
Coding side is ok . But Only problem in rendering . I want the page render with dtlistSeries has 2 repeat column in verticle direction I think only designning part creating problem .Not proper width or height specified so.

I have an Image control with the ImageUrl property set to point to an image on a network folder, the address looks like this:
\fs01PRODUCTSimagesAM101.jpg
It renders correctly in IE but not in Firefox.
pasting the url/path directly into the browser, the address is maintained in IE: \fs01PRODUCTSimagesAM101.jpg
But in Firefox, it is converted to this: file://///fs01/PRODUCTS/images/AM101.jpg
I suspect this is related to the problem.

Whenever you have something like this:
MsgBox("Message before page load")
Response.Redirect("xyz.aspx")
The message box pops up and when you click ok in messagebox then you get redirected to xyz page. I am using Ajaxmodalpopupexntender instead of Message box which loads a UserControl into it. After the popup I have response.redirect. Now, my modalpop doesn't render on to the screen before redirect, waiting for Ok button to be clicked and then get redirected. It directly gets redirected to the xyz page without loading the popup.

I am new to Chart controls and I'm trying to display a label (text) for a datapoint in a chart instead of a value.
I'm using the following code to load the datapoints and to add label information for each point (each label will be different).
But when the chart is displayed all datapoint labels are blank (if I use the first line of code) or the labels are all the same, containing the last rows value (if I use the 2nd line of code).
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Is there something in the .aspx that I need to set?

I have 3 rows in my grid with the label data: "Cat", "Dog", "Mouse". But the label in my chart is blank for all points when I use the first line of code and when I use the second line of code the label is "Mouse" for all points.

I have an issue in using dot net chart control. In chart last column is not completely shown which give bad appearance and on right side of chart it looks like TickMark are enabled. I set MajorTickMark of AxisY2 disabled but still tick marks on right side.

Am I going mad/blind? Probably a combination of the two.
How does one go about removing the data labels from a pie chart with the new chart control in .net 4?
I can get these to display as tooltips absolutely fine, but ultiamtely I'd like the labels not to be present as it looks rather busy.
I've searched previous answers and seen code behind resolutions but surely there must be some sort of code infront option to turn these labels off?

I am using MS Chart control (3.5), and have a requirement where I need to display 2 pie charts. The datapoints for the pie charts is set programatically. My doubts are as follows:
1. Can I display both the pie charts in a single chart control and area, or do I have to use two controls? (Currently I am using two controls)
2. How can I maintain the same size for both the pie charts? This is my main concern, since the pie sizes keep changing, depending on the number of datapoints. I tried using custom properties like "MinimumRelativePieSize", but it's not working.

i'm trying to create a stacked bar chart on a vb web form using vs2010.My data source returns:

But I can't get this into a stacked chart. I know I must have to do quite a bit of work declaring what the series are and soforth, or having a different dataset but can't find any documentation on it.A link to some documentation or an example of a stacked chart from an sql datasource would be much appreciated.

I started using the awesome chart controls with my asp.net apps recently and so far they've been nothing short of breath taking. Right now I have a weird problem, on the first load of my page, the chart control appears correctly and the tooltip is correct, however, when I update it with new data, the chart displays correctly, but the tooltips are for the previous set of data.
I hope this makes sense. The first time I load the chart, the pie chart segments and tooltips are correct, after a partial postback (to get the new data), the pie chart segments are correct but the tooltips are for the previous data set.
Basically once the tooltips are set the first time, they can't be updated after that without a full page postback.
Here's how I set the tooltip:

Anyone else noticed this behaviour and have a work around?
Currently my only workaround is to check for a partial postback and not render the tooltip, which I'd rather not do as the tooltip display actual statistical data as opposed to the pie itself (which uses percentages).

im trying to create simple pie chart using the MS Chart controls. When my pie chart gets rendered in the browser i get padding around the pie chart that i cant get rid of. i would like the pie chart to sit up against the edge of the image with no padding or margin. in my code below the padding is highlighted in blue. i.e Chart1.BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.Blue;

I am a novice programmer using ms chart control for my dashboard, I have a problem displaying chart series.
Here is my sample query & result
Sample Query: "SELECT Brand, sales, Manufacturer From TABLE"

How can I display BrandA for XValueMember & Salesvalue(10000) for YValueMembers as Series1 having a column chart type.
And to display BrandY & BrandZ for XValueMember ; Salesvalue for YValueMembers as Series2 having a line chart type.
I want my chart to have 2 Y-axis; Series1 for primary Y-axis & series2 for secondary Y-axis.
My problem here is how can I display BrandA in Series1 and BrandY,BrandZ in Series2 where the values are in the same field?
Or is it possible to set more than one data source for the chart control?
I've been working on this for two days but I wasn't able to get the desired result.

I am having a requirement, where I need to have a pie-chart, i need text around pie-chart , the text should be a hyperlink. Ex: we have 3 three fields A,B,C. A's ratio is 30%, B's ratio is 40%, c's ratio is 30% So pie chart gets divided into 3 parts, outside the graph , we should get the label A(in A's area only), when we point on , tool tip should say "A's ratio is 30 %'. I am working in .Net 3.5, VS 2008, using MS chart control(added explicitly by executing MSChart.exe.

Two separate questions, but sufficiently intertwined that I'm going to try the two together....
Firstly - User Controls and Behaviours
I have a User Control which contains a few visual controls. I am attaching some behaviours by using GetScriptDescriptors and am passing some JavaScript to the browser using GetScriptReferences. That is all rock solid and working well. However, when developing, I did discover that I couldn't attach the ehaviours to the User Control itself - not surprising as rendering a User Control does not create a DOM element which represents the actual control. So, I have attached my behaviours to a "random" TextBox within the User Control.
So - first question, is there a better way to do that? For example, should I always be rendering a SPAN as an element to surround the control? Not sure what that would do to the robustness of the rendering. What is the right way to attach a behaviour to a User Control.
Secondly - Accessing those same Behaviours later
Assume I have placed a User Control on the page. That User Control exposes a Property (actually a Javascript Function of course) which does "something" to the control - for the sake of example we'll say that the function is set_Border(colour). I then have a behaviour on the same page (actually an Extender on a different control) which needs to call the function. I have a reference to the User Control in my script, so I have tried TheControlReference.set_Border('red') and find that my control doesn't support the set_Border method.
I guess this is probably because the behaviours are not attached to the User Control itself, but to a GUI element within it. Hence, I suspect that the answer to the second question lies within the answer to the first.

I have a custom control that renders different controls based on a property value. This all works correctly until i try and add a rating control to the control. When i render both controls in the CreateChildControls the control is rendered properly.
However when i try to add layout by overriding the RenderContents method and rendering controls there, an error is generated
Extender controls may not be registered after PreRender.The code shows both methods of creating the controls.

I have a control used in our CMS and we don't have the source code for it, what I would like to do is change the rendered output of this control.
Now, I could have a check in my base Page class that checks if the control is being used on the page and then change the html that needs to be altered, but that seems a bit excessive for just 1 usage.
So is there any other way of changing the behaviour of the control without the source code? I'm thinking not other than the way described above.
