MVC :: Jquery Grid In MVC 2?

I have tried to implement the jquery grid from this following site. [URL]
I have faced two problems which are as follows:
1. I m not getting values in my controller (DynamicGridData(e.g. sidx,sord,page,rows)) which returns JsonData to the page to display in the grid?
2. I have tried to convert some C# code to VB but getting the following error
S0133: Implement QueryMethod 'ToArray'
Original C# code is as follows:

I have created 3 tabs in first and second tab DIV I have Asp.net FormView, on Second tabs I have Asp.net GridView. On GridView we have edit link on each row of grid. Now issue is that when i click on edit link of grid Template of grid will change to edit template but tab automatically goes to first tab. I need it should remain on second tab where grid is there I try to use select on clientclick My code as followsThis is under document ready

through all the frustration I have settled most of my MVC frustrations and got my jQuery Grid to display data based on user input (parameters), and of course, life just wouldn't be fun without more problems to solve.How do you handle jQuery Grid editing (not the edit in place) in an MVC application. I know you use the editUrl property of the grid to access the Controller in the MVC application, but it doens't seem to take any parameters. Can anyone provide a sample of using jQuery Grid in an MVC application. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME LINKS TO ALL THE EXAMPLES OUT THERE....unless you find one specifically that does editing, deleting, and adding, because I have spent the past month looking on the web and in the jQuery documentation

I have a page where I'm using jQuery Grid. through routing I'm reaching that page and have an id being passed. eg. localhost/MyController/MyAction/5/ -- 5 being the ID passed. as I'm using jQuery Grid in the same page and to get data I'm setting url property
like this localhost/MyController/MyJQueryDataAction/ -- but for this also I need the above mentioned ID. how can I get that ID and pass it in to jQuery Grid url property on page.

I have a requirement to hide a field called details on a gridview and show it in a jQuery modal dialog when users click on the Customer ID hyperlink. This grid is created programmatically. I will be hiding the details column via the CSS display:none property. Does some one know how can I pass the grid's selected hidden column value to the modal? Here is some of the code I started:

I have an ASP page which displays a text box when it loads. It takes an input number, send it to the server through post back, and then displays some record in a grid view. After a number is input into the box, the server fetches some data from a database and add records to the grid view. It also contains a link column, whose URL is set to "#", so that the page isn't redirected when it is clicked.
Now I want to bind a jquery "click" event to that link. How can I do that ? I have tried that to do myself but failed, because it is not available when the DOM is loaded (since it only contains rows when a number is input through the box), and is being modified through ASP.NET Ajax post back.

it doesn't return anything is it because the data being returned is a single row or this type of query doesn't allow multiple parameters...

i am searching for a way to create a grid (from some kind of jquery grid plugin didnt choose one yet)
anyway i want to call a webmethod and return a json serialized from a List of an object i created.
today i just use a regular grid view inside an iframe
but i want to eliminate that iframe and create those grids with ajax requests.
