Jan 11, 2011I am using CollapsiblePanelExtender and there are few controls within the panel which need to be shown on expanding the panel. Controls are in three different div within the panel.
Problem:
On expanding panel, IE page scroll bar position doesn't go down upto third div and i can see the controls upto second div. I have to scroll down the page to see all the controls.
Is there any way if i can see all the div controls on expanding panel instead of manually scrolling down the page?

Jun 11, 2010I have implemented a collapsible panel which works properly. It collapse and it extends the content panel when the link corresponding to the information panel is clicked. Within the content panel I have an HTML table control containing several rows and columns. Within one of these columns I have added a container (a <DIV> tag) holding a Google map. Here is the issue:
The map does not properly show up within the container when the content panel is extended. It appears to be shifted to the left, not centered as it should be. Therefore, any attempt to place a point mark on the map (centering the map over that point mark) is unsuccessful since the map doesn't show properly in the container so the point mark is not visible. Even if I drag the map with the mouse within the container, it always reposition at a bad location. If I comment out the extender, leaving the panel as is, the maps shows properly within its container. It is the collapsible panel extender which makes the layout to be incorrect.

Sep 5, 2010When I restarted IIS (for some scenarios check) - It stopped working, and gave me a page telling me to check the event viewer, there I get the following error:
aspnet_wp.exe could not be started. The error code for the failure is C0000142. This error can be caused when the worker process account has insufficient rights to read the .NET Framework files. ensure that the .NET Framework is correctly installed and that the ACLs on the installation directory allow access to the configured account.
This is NOT an ACL problem.
IE8 Debugging ASCX Component Doesn't Show Correct Location In Javascript Code When It Stops
Aug 2, 2010I have an ASCX component that has a lot of javascript declared in a script tag in the ascx itself. I can set breakpoints, and the debugger stops as it should, but the text that is highlighted in the debugger as the "current line" is nowhere near the actual javascript (it is much higher in the rendered file than it should be). I can "wing it" for one or two lines with the real code side-by-side with the "false" line of execution, but I lose all the hover abilities and everything else that makes javascript debugging useful.
I have tried putting the script at the top of my ascx file, but to no avail. I've tried not setting a breakpoint until the entire page is rendered, so that I have to scroll all the way to where the actual lines of code are, and the debugger still stops somewhere way above it.

Above example works fine if there is no NULL.
When users want to find email they leave phone field empty and enters the firstname. But my example doesn't displaying email of given user if phone is NULL in db.
View Page Source - Displaying Chart In Project
Mar 18, 2010I am trying to display a couple of charts of my site. The two charts are here: [URL]. I did a right-click and "view page source", copied the pertinent information into my project and when I run it, I only see a parameter, or outline of where the chart should be. I see pretty much everything EXCEPT for the chart. I've been to other sites and was able to display the chart DJIA chart in my project, but it doesn't update throughout the day. Is there an easy way to set up these kinds of charts, or do you need some kind of direct connection to one of the exchanges or some such thing?

Mar 14, 2011I have a simple table with 5 text boxes, above that i have a dropdown where you make a selection, if there are any records of associated with the selection, then i display in the fields..
A while back this was working, you could make a selection and the fields were within a update panel and they were populated. But im revisiting the pages to make some updates and changes and noticing that the page no longer populates the fields when a selection is made..
Is there anyway to debug the updatepanel? I put a breakpoint in my selectedindexchanged event and my Db call is returning values and the textboxes .TEXT values are being assigned the right values in the code behind, but the fields never show up..
This page hasnt been touched since it was wworking last, so need to see how i can test / debug the update panel to determine what coudl be causing it..

Tracing Doesn't Show Any Difference
May 20, 2010I have a page (not online but only on my mashine - and it is on all pages in the application ) when I load that page in IE and look at the clock I can see, that it use about 1 second to load the pageNow I load the page in Firefox or GoogleCrome and again I look at the clock and can see, it takes about 5 seconds to load the page.Then I thought I could use Trace=true on the page to see, where it hangs when loading the page in Firefox or GoogleCrome by comparing with the trace log from the IE page......But the only time differences I can see is, that Firefox uses LESS time than IE to load page.

Jquery Cookies - States Of Sliding Panel Doesn't Work
Jan 5, 2011I have a little problem with my sliding panels, I have a Page with 2 sliding panels (right and left). These panels have a 'slide button' and you can reduce panels by clicking on it. I use cookies to record state of panel, so when you change page panels stay collapsed or extended. But it doesn't work very well, in fact the state is recorded for the page. If I change page, panel will extend (default position) but if I go back on the page it will disapear. Is it possible to ignore the path in the cookie and use a cookie for all website?

ScriptManager And EnablePartialRendering - Panel With The Loading Stuff Doesn't Display
Feb 24, 2011I have a page that uses ajax scripmanager > progressupdate so I can display the user a message of "Loading, wait..". Now, my question is the following. I have the EnablePartialRendering set to true, mainly because if I set it to false my panel with the loading stuff doesn't display. When is set to true, then if I want to set the text and visibility on a row that is normally set to visible=false, it just doesn't happen. My row doesn't show. My "Loading" message will only display if a stored procedure exist, if it doesn't I just need to let the user know.
