AJAX :: CollapsiblePanelExtender Doesn't Show All The Contents Of Panel?
Jan 11, 2011
I am using CollapsiblePanelExtender and there are few controls within the panel which need to be shown on expanding the panel. Controls are in three different div within the panel.
Problem:
On expanding panel, IE page scroll bar position doesn't go down upto third div and i can see the controls upto second div. I have to scroll down the page to see all the controls.
Is there any way if i can see all the div controls on expanding panel instead of manually scrolling down the page?
I have made a user control using CollapsiblePanelExtender control. I am getting a small issue, that the panel that expands is not relative to the control. It always open on left side of the page. My control is in different location in different pages. How can I make sure that the expand and collapse is with respect to the control? I see "left: -36px" in the style attribute of "SettingsContentPanel". How can it be relative and doesn't break the code.
I have implemented a collapsible panel which works properly. It collapse and it extends the content panel when the link corresponding to the information panel is clicked. Within the content panel I have an HTML table control containing several rows and columns. Within one of these columns I have added a container (a <DIV> tag) holding a Google map. Here is the issue:
The map does not properly show up within the container when the content panel is extended. It appears to be shifted to the left, not centered as it should be. Therefore, any attempt to place a point mark on the map (centering the map over that point mark) is unsuccessful since the map doesn't show properly in the container so the point mark is not visible. Even if I drag the map with the mouse within the container, it always reposition at a bad location. If I comment out the extender, leaving the panel as is, the maps shows properly within its container. It is the collapsible panel extender which makes the layout to be incorrect.
I have an AJAX Modal Popup panel that contains a RadioButtonList, 2 labels and 2 DropDowns. I want to update the Labels and DropDowns when a radio button is selected. My attempt at this posts back which causes the ajax popup to disappear.
aspx called on image click: <asp:Panel ID="pnlModalContainer" runat="server"> <asp:RadioButtonList ID="rblTest" runat="server" RepeatDirection="Horizontal" OnSelectedIndexChanged="rblTest_SelectedIndexChanged"> [code]...
Iam trying to use a UserControl named CheckBoxControl as value for the ExpandControlID/CollapseControlID attributes of the CollapsiblePanelExtender. It works fine when I use a normal CheckBox instead.
When I run the site, most ajax controls on my site disappear and I get following errors in firefox script error console:
Fehler: Sys.InvalidOperationException: Handler was not added through the Sys.UI.DomEvent.addHandler method. Fehler: Sys.ArgumentException: Failed to find element "ucHaftpflicht.CheckBox" Parameter name: CollapseControlID
I have a simple table with 5 text boxes, above that i have a dropdown where you make a selection, if there are any records of associated with the selection, then i display in the fields..
A while back this was working, you could make a selection and the fields were within a update panel and they were populated. But im revisiting the pages to make some updates and changes and noticing that the page no longer populates the fields when a selection is made..
Is there anyway to debug the updatepanel? I put a breakpoint in my selectedindexchanged event and my Db call is returning values and the textboxes .TEXT values are being assigned the right values in the code behind, but the fields never show up..
This page hasnt been touched since it was wworking last, so need to see how i can test / debug the update panel to determine what coudl be causing it..
I have an asyncfileupload control within a panel control. The panel is initially set to visible=false on page load. After a user clicks a button to display the panel contents however, I set the panel to visible and the user can then use the asyncfileupload. The problem however, is it seems much of the javascript associated with the asyncfileupload, does not function properly when the panel containing the upload control is set from invisible to visible. If I set my panel's "visible" property to "true" initially, then it works fine. My javascript error message is as follows:
"Form contains a file input, but is missing method=POST and enctype=multipart/form-data on the form. The file will not be sent."
Basically within my asyncfileupload control, I have the following line:
[Code]....
In this scenario, my "args" variable is always null (when I set my pane's "visible" property to "true" on page load, the args variable DOES contain data. Any idea why switching a panel from visible=false to visible=true, would cause an error like this?
I have a very simple ModalPopup (with checkboxlist) + LinkButton in a page. I did everything as per the video tutorial. However, it appears that the first click on my linkbutton triggers a reload of the page and only after that, it starts working. How can I have it working the first time ?
I am unable to view my grid view already linked to my data source. when i run it locally it does not show... Is there any thing else should i include when calling Grid view in Ajax ?
I Have a UpdateProgress in my page. I have a button that save and show a alert message if a condition is true.
The problem is that If I use the UpdatePanel+UpdateProgress my alert does not show, if I remove the UpdatePanel+UpdateProgress from my page, the alert is display!
I was wondering if this could be a solution to my problem, I have a modalpopuextender in a content page, and it shows the panel of the popup, but not the background, also it is not placed in the center,
if you have any idea, I am a little under pressure here.
i have 2 gridview in the same page; when user click on the 1st girdview masterId, it will then link to show the detail in 2nd girdview. May i know to do, so that the 2nd gridview will show in ajax panel?
I have a input of type file and when i try to do a Request.files when the input is wrapped in an update panel...it always returns an empty httpfilecollection. Why???

I created a .NET user control to work as a DropdownCheckbox and added Jquery to give the sliding and hide effects. The code is as below:
[Code]....
This control works fine in a normal page, but once I put it inside an update panel it doesn't work. Is there a work around or simply I can't use JQuery inside update panel?
I am trying to do a simple thing using asp.net. I wanna show a modal popup panel from a server procedure with vb.net.

I would like to show a faq-area with many questions and answers. If the page was load, i will show only the questions. Now the user can click the button show, then my panel must be visible = true and the answer of the clicked question was shown.
I have a question about watermark extender. I used it to apply to a password textbox and confirm password textbox with password text mode. I found some site recomending using picture so that the word "Password" and "Confirm Password" will be shown in the textbox. For some reason, in the confirm password textbox, the picture doesn't show correctly. It is like some part is omitted. I try to check on my local computer and it was fine. But when I check on my computer at home. I got that weird problem. Why is it like that?
