I am trying to display a couple of charts of my site. The two charts are here: . I did a right-click and "view page source", copied the pertinent information into my project and when I run it, I only see a parameter, or outline of where the chart should be. I see pretty much everything EXCEPT for the chart. I've been to other sites and was able to display the chart DJIA chart in my project, but it doesn't update throughout the day. Is there an easy way to set up these kinds of charts, or do you need some kind of direct connection to one of the exchanges or some such thing?
Now my requirement is that i have to give One link for Access Classic ASP Project.
For that I want link like

Here is a virtual directory created for .Net Page. Now inside that i need to create one folder "OLDSITE" and inside oldside i need to put classic asp page.
How can i set virtual directory for classic asp page.
look at this sample link address: (weather.gov) if you view page source in browser, you can see that it shows data in XML format (usng xsl.?). I need to implement a simple web page like that. I think that web site uses XML XSL I'm going to implement a web application in asp.net which will use data stored in sql database (or xml database or web service) and show these information like other normal web sites but in xml format in nice UI (using xsl?).That Weather website is only a sample to show what i want to do (i will not use any data from that site, my application is different). My requirement is being able to view page source only in XML format. Now I'm clear that xsl is the solution for that, but considering to use this method in asp.net.(use xml/xsl in dynamic asp.net pages) My Question? It is important for me to make the web page output in xml format(visible in xml format in page view source) but looks user friendly for users. 1.how can i do it in asp.net ?
i m trying to a Front End which will allow me View Html Souce of a particular aspx page where i can edit it and save it alsoright now i m doing this now i suppose i add some paragraph text to it and now i want to save this particular aspx page with the same name and at same place
how to make my source code to display on one line instead of multiple in source view. The display drives me batty when I'm trying to find something and I would prefer to display across the page instead of multiple lines down the page.
I am developing one asp.net application and I have a requirement that I need to fetch html of page: I can easily do it with asp.net code using httpwebrequest but I have to do it from client side either using javascript or JQuery or any other thing. This is required becaues REQUEST TO GET PAGE MUST COME FROM CLIENT AND NOT FROM SERVER DUE TO IP ISSUE.
I'm creating a WebUserControl. I've designed the control to a specific height and width dropping various controls on it. My problem is, when I go to another either the source view or another aspx page altogether and then return to the WebUC, the UC has shrunk in size. If I click on the UC and start to drag to its original size, the size dimensions show up as I'm dragging it and then suddenly it automatically snaps to original size before I finish dragging. I'm really not sure I explained it that well but don't know what else to say.
We have three options to view any .aspx page in a tab
Design Source Split
How can we view Design and Source in separate tabs for a any aspx page ?
Or if this is impossible!! can we use split option by Vertically splitting the Design and Source ? if later one is possible, I could stretch the view onto two monitors like here as suggested by Nick Craver.
I'm using Visual Studio 2008, and when I select/highlight something in design view and switch to source view it does not highlight and scroll to the selected item. This makes it really hard to change stuff in source view, and it's very inconvenient at worst
I have a dataset that is binded to piechart control the dataset has 2 columns the "country name " as X and "population" As Y
I have 2 problems the first one I just want to display both X and corresponding Y Values
I try this code Chart1.Series[0].SetCustomProperty("PieLabelStyle", "outside"); it just display country name ONLY
the second problem I want the values to be distributed along 360C of the pie chart in other words I have 30 countries and want to be displayed and fit the circular pie
I have a website that is written in VB.NET (Visual Web Developer 2010 Express.) One aspx page has a Chart control that accesses a MySQL database on my server Windows Server 2008 R2, IIS 7.
When run on the development machine (my laptop) the Chart displays the data correctly. However, when the website is copied to my server, the chart does not display the data, but the chart is rendered.
My code to load the data:
'GET RECORDS OF PREVIOUS MONTH Do Until MyDayCount = MyDayEnd Dim Sql As String = "SELECT SUM(DiffWatt) FROM consumptrans WHERE Day='" & MyDayCount & "' AND Month='" & MyPreviousMonth & "' AND Year='" & MyPrevYear & "'AND ClientID='" & UserName & "'" cmd = New MySqlClient.MySqlCommand(Sql, con)
I am using the Chart control that is part of the newest version of ASP.NET. In this Chart, I have 3 Spline series. Each series consists of a nullable in array (int?[]). If the element in the array is a number, I wants it point plotted. However, in the case that the value is null, I do not want it plotted. Is there a way to do this? If so, how?
I have created a stackedbar chart that has the points populated in code behind. Each stacked group consists of 2 series. When I run the chart everything displays correctly except there is only one label on the xaxis. I have tried setting the xaxis label text to the name for each series but all this does is change it to the first series name, and not even under the correct position. Setting the series labels to enabled shows the correct data on the correct bars, but I would like it on the xaxis!
Tried changing the xaxis interval to 1 which seems to be a common issue for people but to no avail. Is it because I'm using a new series for each bar? Is there a way to label stack groups on the xaxis instead of one of the series?
I have web project and window project.Web project reference from window project and I want to debug from web project to source code in window project. Where do I setup to look for debug source code in window project.
I copied all source code from another computer. but on another computer can debug just fine. All that different is where the source file is located. so I think it should have some config in studio that tell where the source file is.
I need to display c#, vb.net or any source code on a web page. The source code that will be displayed should indented, colored as we see in any IDE. I am not sure how would i achieve this. Is there any in-built control available in asp.net that i can use to display the code or can someone tell me how can i achieve this.
I know nopCommerce and dashCommerce quite well, but I so far have never found any open source shopping cart (including HumanResources and Vendors) bigger than the nopCommerce. I'm wondering whether AdventureWorks database comes together with a web project or other UI projects as an open source. Or it just exists as a sample database only.

I've just started investigating the Microsoft Ajax Minifer 4.0 for use with a Visual Studio 2008 Web Application I work on. It's proven easy enough to hook it into the .csproj file so it produced .min.js files for all scripts, however I'm stumped as to how to integrate this with the Web Setup project & Source Control.
Essentially what I want to do is have the resultant .min.js files included in the Web Setup project without having them included in Source Control because:
Having to check them out prior to the build being executing is a pain (the minifier cannot modify them if they're not checked out).
As they're created as a "build artifact" it just seems wrong to have them stored under source control.
The only option I've managed to come across so far is to explicitly include the .min.js files as part of the Setup project by right clicking on the Web Setup project and choosing "Add > File", and then having the relevant folder hierarchy duplicated in "File System on Target Machine" so that I can force the file to the correct location. This is neither elegant or simple/robust as:
It requires me to manually add every minified js file to the Web Setup project by hand Maintain a copy of the relevant directory structure in both the Web Application project and the Web Setup projec Remember to add any new js files minified versions to the Web Setup project.
I was merging my web.config file and one I downloaded for open source forums, as it told me to. I copied the different lines myself, but now I'm getting three compile errors in my file.
Here are the errors:
1- The 'compliation' start tag on line 47 does not match the end tag of 'system.web'. Line 205, position 4.
2- Tag was not closed. (On line 47, column 4)
3- Expecting end tag </compilation>. (On line 205, column 3)
Basically I want to take the following:And make it match the styling of the rest of the application.I am creating a custom error page in my C# based project and I want it to be able to show the same information that is displayed in the ASP.NET default error page. From fiddling with reflector I can see that this is generated through HttpException.GetHtmlErrorMessage() but when I try to use this in my exception it returns null.
