Routes Don't Work - Only Show Real Page Name In Link

Im looking on some routes.MapPageRoutes but i cant get it to work.
I have these link
ROOT
default..aspx
brands.aspx
service.aspx
contact.aspx
aboutus.aspx
shopping.aspx
ALL these pages is running with a masterpage
eb.master (also in the root)
And then i have the global file that have the namespace in the global file also.when im running the pages/website and i have the default.aspx page activ, it show
www.mydomain.dk/default.aspx
when i wanted it to be
www.mydomain.dk/Butikken
Its the same problem with the others routes....

I am developing a real time tracking system , we are using cisco apis for retrieving the current location and they store this value in a location server(cisco hardware) ie from that server we will get the x and y positions. Using this x and y posituions i need to show the path of the object. i need to continuouly connect this with location server and retrieve the x and y and needto show the path . How this will be possible. Currently we are uising timer and refreshing it with 5 seconds. Is there any other way so that we need to show the path as soon aspossible likle an ant moving along the surfacce.

We have a dynamic sitemap and all nodes in the sitemap display a breadcrumb. Is it possible to have the breadcrumb still showing, but make the link in the sitemap invisible or non-clickable? Reason for this is that... we dont want users to select some pages from the sitemap (becasue they need to conduct a search first to populate a datagrid) and clicking on the link will only take them to an empty page. I tried just removing the url, or having a blank title, but that didn't work.

I am using .NET Page Routing (not MVC) to get pretty URLs (or at least removing the file extensions) on my site.On my search page, when a user searches for "stuff" it redirects then to /search/stuff for the results. However when I put in something like "stuff yes:" it gives me a HTTP 400 Bad Request Error.
I tried using javascript to encode the search value before being submitted, and confirmed that "stuff yes:" was converted to "staff%20yes%3A", yet when it performs the routing redirect, in the URL it shows "staff%20yes:" and causes the bad request. Why is it not saving the encoding for the typically illegal characters and how can I make it so?

This is a near identical problem I am having to that of this query, albeit mine is a Web Forms scenario (using routing in .NET 4) as opposed to MVC.Add a trailing slash at the end of each url?The solution that someone mentions there is only half provided unfortunately as the link to the complete solution is broken.At the moment, any trailing slash from my page routes is removed when I get the route url.This is especially problematic when I want to use the following type of inline syntax on my web form:
<a runat="server" href='<%$RouteUrl:RouteName=Posts %>'>
Again here the trailing slash is removed, despite it being present in my route table.Can anyone please help provide a clean, efficient solution to this problem? Ideally, like the 'nearly complete' solution provided in the other Stack Overflow thread I've put above?

I am trying to create an Area for running DynamicData with scaffolding as an administration part. It's probably working as it should but I can't get the routing to work.
In my global.asax I have the following function to register the routes:

Unfortunately the "best" thing that happened to me so far was that when I check the default tables I get a message about (MetaModel.VisibleTables)

The problem is that I don't know why this is. Is it the routing or something else? Is it perhaps some security thing or can I not put dynamic data inside an area?
The DynamicData folder itself is located in the root of the application since that is the convention it uses and I have no intention to override that.

I can't get my logout link to work. Everytime I click the logout button, it appears that nothing happens. I have set the url to change, and that will work, but it will not log the user out. Is there another setting I am missing? Here is my login view:

Here is my requirement -
1. I need to load a user control on link click event of a link button during postback of aspx page.
2. On button click event of a save button on that aspx page, I need to read the selected values from that user control on further postback.
If I write the loadcontrol code in link_click event, the control is not recognized at all in the button_click event. When I shift it to page_init and execute only during not postback, the user control loads with default values.

now it suppose to open it in the iframe3 , but instead it opens it in a new window ...

I send automated mails to hotmail users. (thank you for your registration bla bla)Because plain text doesn't look attractive enough, I use HTML with images. The images reside on a public webserver.
As SMTP server I use the SMTP part of IIS 7.5 (windows 2008 R2). I have an SPF record setup in the DNS. I have also read http://tinisles.blogspot.com/2009/09/sending-dkim-email-from-c.html and found out that sending mail with the SMTP service and a DKIM signature cannot be done properly without an external commercial component. So I do not have such thing (yet).
Now that is all about my background and here is the problem:I have this in my HTML:
<a href="http://www.mydomain.com">click here</a>
But when users get am e-mail like that and view it in hotmail. (chrome, IE, safari etc.) and when they hover the link they will see that the url is http://www.mydomain.com but when they click on it. It redirects to:
http://www.mydomain.com/mail/InboxLight.aspx/404.aspx?msg=The%20file%20'/mail/InboxLight.aspx'%20does%20not%20exist
what am I doing wrong? Is it an SMTP/IIS server setting? Did I forget something in my Asp.Net C# code when I have send the mail? Did I forget something in the DNS or HTML markup? The link works perfectly when I receive the mail in my Outlook 2010 where the domain is also added to the safelist.
EDIT If it seems to be all related to the antispam stuff in hotmail. Should I consider to buy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98oc_5bjjkc

In my gridview i am returning values from database in which 'filelocation' is containing location of pages over my server and i want to use coustom linkbutton in templete field to raise a event and set session variable and then redirect to that page .
My question is how to get value fron 'filelocation' coloum in gried view when a linkbutton in clicked and onclick is fired and also set session value at taht point.

say of have a table of cars in my SQL database. That table has a column for the car make and a column called picture of type:

I'm then displaying my cars in a repeater and so it might look like this:

What I'm wanting is in column two to get the picture of the car to display and make it so you can click on that picture and it will run a method in the code behind. Also I have this requirement where the picture click method mustn't require javascript to run.
I'm currently thinking about putting the image somehow in a link but I'm not sure how to display the image. Maybe the asp:Image but that requires an ImageUrl.

I have spent a couple of days on this one. I have an ASP.NET website that has Linkbuttons on
the Default.aspx page.. I added a WebService to the Website because later on the WebService will
subscribe to a Provider(Feed) of News, Sports and Weather and things like that. So when a Linkbutton
on the Default.aspx page is clicked it will connect to the link in the WebService which will load the News,
Sports or Weather onto the Default.aspx web page.
The problem is I can't get the LinkButton to execute the Link in the WebService. The link will call the page up
to where you see all of the Web References. But then if you want to execute one of those references you
have to click its link and the Invoke button that will follow. My questioh is how can the link on my Default.aspx
page execute the link in the WebService. Now I changed the LinkButton into an <a href> but I still can't execute
the link in the WebServices. I always use www.Microsoft.com as the link when testing and I wasn't sure about the return type
so I put "void" for an HTTPRequest, so below is the link from the Default.aspx web page and below that is he asmx file:
