SQL Reporting :: Sum 2 Specific Values From 1group?

I'm working in SSRS, and lets say I have a matrix, and the matrix is grouped by "Customers", and "Customers" have values: "Bob", "Bill", "Ted". Each Customer has a field "Amount". If I sum the "Amount" in the group footer, it will give me the sum for "Bob", "Bill", and "Ted". If I sum in the report footer it will give me the sum for all of "Bob", "Bill", and "Ted". But lets say I only wanted the sum for "Bob" and "Ted, and not for "Bill". How can I filter the sum to include only specific values of the group?

I have a report with a line chart that displays customer data. The dataset has year, month, customer, and purchases. The data category group is by year and month. The values are purchases. The series group is by customer with the data sorted in decending order by purchases and a filter of the top 10 purchasers. This works fine as intended.Now I'd like to display just one of those customers on it's own seperate chart. Since I cannot use RowNumber in the filter, how do I accomplish this (i.e. I want to show "series 1" on a chart, "series 2" on another chart, "series 3" on another chart and so on).

i create stored procedure to link my table and select data from multiple table then i create dataset and set this dataset as datasource for report in this report i use chart control but and i set the darg th column i want to be draw in data fileds but the only avilable value for this column must be aggregation function when i try to change it to be =Fields!Result.Value it didn't ,also i set point lable check box to be visible and i set the data label to be =Fields!Result.Value it works why? also i create the same report in report builder it work correctly....why?
note that when i prees at the arrow beside value fileds the follownig fields are available?
but when i press this arrrow when trying to set the data label the following fields appear ? the same report with the same data and i set the value filed to = fields!Result.value it work correctly?

I have field_1, the data format store in the field is about "Mary, Amy, Billy, Ma" how can i extract the record that the field_1 has Mary.
I can't use the like'%Mary%' because it can extract 'Ma' too.
I would like to extract exactly Mary. or can i split the field_1 by ',' in sql?

I Have a DataTable with a lot of Rows and Columns.
Some of these Rows have the Same "OrderId", actually these rows are almost the same, but I have a specific value in the "TagList" Column that I have to put in the previous row.
Making a unique Row with all the TagList values inside the TagList Column.
I'll give a example below:
Line 1:
ID: 1
Name: John
OrderId: 1500
TagList: AG75
Line2:
ID: 2
Name: John
OrderId: 1500
TagList: BG99
I wanna do it:
Line:
ID: 1
Name: Mark
OrderId: 1500
TagList: AG75, BG99
ie: Concatenate the TagList's values when they have the same OrderId.

I have a button inside a datalist with command name of 'Command1' and '12.09,13,21,True,Here is a string text' The type of it can be changed. it doesnt matter. What I wanna do only matters here ! when I press this button I wanna get value before comma seperately. E.g. someting like that;

After I press it I wanna appoint values to those variables.

I have a requirement to keep a history of values of some fields in an EF4 ASP.NET MVC3 application. This just needs to be a log file of sorts, log the user, datetime, tablename, fieldname, oldvalue, newvalue.
Although it would be pretty easy to code this in various save routines, I'm wondering if I can get global coverage by wiring it into some sort of dataannotation, so that I can perhaps declare

I can't find the answer to this easy question, because I don't know the terminology I am looking to use. I have 2 tables, one that is a Users Table, and another (UserProfiles) that extends the Users table to include more info, like Age, Sex, Weight, etc.I am using the Entity Framework as my model, and the UserProfiles inherits from the Users table on a 1:1 basis.
All I need to do is the learn the syntax, that allows LINQ to Entities to query only some of the data from UserProfiles. For example, maybe I only need Sex and Weight, but not Age.

I have a report, in this report I have link to other report to generate the PDF versions. It all works except when I pass multiple values from the a dropdown parameters. Here is what I have tried, the first one works, but only returns the first users information, it ignores 1074 and 1106.

What I have below is currently working on my site to display information within an article. What I am wondering is that within a lot of stories I have more than one 'SchoolID' included. All of these IDs are in our database within the 'ArticleSchool' table and linked to an 'ArticleID.' The statement below is only displaying the first 'SchoolID' listed within an article. Is there a way I would be able to display every 'SchoolID' within an article to grab information from? Will it not work in a label if there are multiple values? The 'ArticleSchool' table has rows for every article and a new instance if more than one 'SchoolID' is attached.

the Data key name of grid is STDNo the problem is that the instructor this month will add only homework1(h1) for specific student number or to all students and rest of home works and quezies will not entered (Null), to the next month he will enter home work 2 ,etc... i get an error and i think that the null values for others home works in grid make this error caution: in table i check allow null property,the data type is integer How i can convert this null values to integer?

I have a detail section in report. I am perfectly able to retrieve all the data from the Sharepoint List into datatable and bind it, to generate reports inside the details section.All the columns and related row data are getting displayed as reports in to the detail section.But, my issue is, I want to change the row data for a particular column before rendering on to the report.for instace, if column named Product has some values, I would like to display these values with different string name based on a switch condition. How do I achieve this?

When making a Table Report, I can add a Sum to to each Columns.After this I manually add a new Column. In this column I make some Calculations based on values found in some of the other columns in my Table report. Thease calculations are performed correct. I am using code like=ReportItems!TextBox_xxx.Value to get the code from the other text boxes.But now I will add a sum also to the Column I have manually added, but I get the error message:

I am having two reports Report1 and Report2. From Report1 i have to call report2 while clicking link.
I have acheived this by using Jump to report and also i have passed some parameters to report2.
Using report viewer i am viewing this report1. In link field right click properties i am getting report2 url. In new browser if paste the report 2 url with paramters values URL report is coming and also it allows to change report parametes in address bar.
Is it possible to excrypt parameters values while calling report2

I have a report (Reporting Services) integrated into an ASP.NET that shows dropdownlists to select report parameter values. The dropdownlists are populated using direct database selects, though I see the report RDL files do contain the paramter values and datasets as defined in the report designer.Is it possible to obtain the report parameters "available values" in ASP.NET to populate the dropdownlists? This would avoid some code duplication.
Update.If the parameter doesn't use a query for available values, the following works:
