SQL Server :: Query - Get A Result With The Latest 10 Offers For All Products With One Offer Per Product

I have a sql table (ProductsOffers) in which I store all the offers posted for each Product it consists of columns
offerId int
ProductId int
ProductSpec nvarchar 50
OfferDate DateTime
OfferId + ProductId = My primary Key
everyday there will be many offers for each model and some of them may have no offer in this day. Now Suuppose that I have 10 Products with 15 offers. I want a sql sentence or function that let me select the latest offer for each product. When I select by date it returns the last inserted offer and they may have repeated products and also there will be some products not appear in the result. how can I get a result with the latest 10 Offers for all my products with one offer per product

I am trying to pull all products from Amazon Product API, but as far as I know, that's impossible to do unless they give you access to Bulk Data Feeds.

I am trying to display this query result in an aspx page.
It is very slow in loading. Here is the query. The inner query inside the outer quesry is the problem.(Please see the underlined part in the query) - (If I remove that part it is very fast.)

I have a SQL statement as below
SELECT [Motor]
,[Time]
FROM [logger].[dbo].[motor]
WHERE day([Time]) = day(getdate())
ORDER BY [TIME]
This is a very basic table that gives me the status of a motor at a given time. All i want is a select statement that will give me the latest result if possible. I can get it so it gives all of todays results but if i could get it that it only displays the latest result that would be great.

I am using nhibernate and performing one to many relation,
i have a parent table "Category" and child table as "product"
this is my code,

I have 2 gridviews on a webpage that are fully editable. I also have a button, that when clicked, runs some SQL in codebehind to insert new rows into a data table. The gridview should then update with the latest results of the SQL query, which is does.
Then the user clicks on to the next page to do the next thing.The problem is, when they go back to the first page, they're still seeing the old, non-updated data. I've run the SQL from the page manually on the server, and the new data is there, but the GridView doesn't want to pull it.

I am developing a website that display products and the users will be able to rate these products. At the end of the month a winner product will be highlighted on the website home page. What I need to know is how to determine the winner product if I have the following rating scenario, The user will rate for the product by choosing a value from 1 to 5 where 1 mean bad and 5 excellent.
If 10 users voted for the product A and the average rating was 4 and 1 user voted for product B and the average rating were 5 that mean product B will be the winner. I feel this is not the correct method to determine the winner. one has better method that take in consideration the number of voted users to determine the winner?

i need to make 2 funtions on an ASP.NET c# page working with an SQL server (using Visual Web Developer 2010 Express) the 1st one is a simple serach and i've done the 2nd thing is an update , the sp is like:(it works in SQL)

I'm trying to use SemWeb library to make my SPARQL queries on an remote SPARQL endpoint.
this is what i'm using fort testing, since this is an example that came with Semweb

source.RunSparqlQuery("SELECT * WHERE {?entity dcterms:title 'someentity' }", new SparqlXmlQuerySink(Console.Out));
Now, what happens is that my query isn't returning xml, but javascript, how do i know that?
using this simpler example:

So my question is, how do i tell semweb to get my results in xml format?

I have a table with logentries (tblLog) for items (tblItem) (one-to-many relationship). How can I select say the id and date for the latest logentry when I select a record from the tblItems table? In other words I want a result set with all columns from the tblItem table and also some additional columns from the tblLog table (LogId, Date, Event) for each row selected from the tblItem table. How can I do this?
