Here i have associated a panel with the animation extender control.So on click of the panel it will scroll down.Now the panel will scroll down onclick of panel itself. I have placed 2 link butons (open and close) on the panel.What I am trying to achieve is ,
On click of open link button in the panel, the panel should scroll up and it should scroll down on the click event of close button.
How can i do that.I want the two link buttons(open and close) inside the panel itself.

VS 2005 Asp:panel With Scrollbars=auto In Firefox
May 4, 2010I have a problem, which only occurs in Firefox (latest version).I have a panel:
<asp:Panel ID=panel1 ScrollBars=Auto Width=735px Height=400px runat=server>
If the width or the height inside of the panel is exceeded the content of the panel is not shown. Everything works fine in IE8.
I have tried this code as well and the same problem occurs:

AJAX :: Avoid Auto Update Tab Panel In Design View (VS)
Dec 3, 2010I use AJAX tab panel for my web site (ver.1.0.2) with VS2005. Previously I use large page and now i it change to tab panel. The problem is when I change the source view to design view it automatically update the content of tab panel and show the 'error creating control' and sometimes it not. So I'm having difficulty on designing that page because always I have to keep the backup of the page.

Sep 27, 2010I use my web app on the wall as a dashboard type scenario. One thing that would look great would be to automatically move between pages on my site (and maybe others) after a certain time. For example, you setup page x for 2 mins, then page y for 2 mins then page z for 4 mins. Now, I can do this easily inside my existing website. However, I would like to be able to switch to other sites with login where required. So basically a website of its own that just diverts according to a script. Has anyone seen anything like this on the market or have concepts similar?
Note, my webspages are ajax-ified so any timers would not be allowed to interupt updated.

AJAX :: Auto - Complete Extender And Default Button Of A Panel - Enter Key
Sep 25, 2010I have a text box with an auto-complete extender attached to it. This is in a panel. Now, I have set the default button of the panel to the submit button of the panel.

Now, I find that when the auto-complete options show up and I try to select an option using the enter key, the button is pressed (triggering a postback) due to it being the defaultbutton of the panel. I want to be able to select an aut-complete option using the enter key and yet not post back. Therefore, the enter key (when the text box is in focus) should not trigger a postback. How can I achieve this?

In another page,I had a File Upload control. When we will upload the image,then the image will be displayed in that Div section.
1.When the image is large,it should be re-size and display in that particular Div section completely.
For Eg:The image size like 350PX*350PX and 1024PX*1024PX, it should be re-size to Div Section size has 302PX*302PX.
2.When the image is Small,it shouldn't be re-size and display in that particular Div section completely.
For Eg:The image size like 50PX*50PX,100PX*100PX and 302PX*302PX ,it shouldn't be re-size and display in that Div section.
For Eg:The image size like 15PX*15PX these will appear very small.But When uploading the file these images also should displayed completely with as it is in that Div section.But the image will displayed neatly.
3.If there are any tools for these type of conditions using ASP.Net.

There's a GridView inside the panel and it's so wide that scrolling all the way over to the right to scroll down causes the client to lose their position on the page and would like a scrollbar provided on the left (keeping the one on the right) if it's possible, anyone know of a way to do that?

VS 2008 - How To Popup A Panel When A Row In Gridview Is Clicked
Nov 5, 2010I need to popup a modal panel on the webpage when a user clicks a row in the gridview. The only way I know how to do things with clicking rows is with the attributes.add routine like below. I do this in the RowDataBound so they can view a detail page when a row is clicked.

Mar 2, 2011I run into this problem while playing with accordion for a project. Sometimes VS 2008 auto generates code, without me wanting to!!!. Less generally I have an Accordion with 2 Accordion Panes in it. When modifing properties of the Accordion VS 2008 adds an Accordion extender and duplicates the two Accordion Panes!

VS 2008 Can Have More Than One Panel And Modal Popup Extender On A Page
Jun 9, 2010I just added a panel with the ajax modal popup extender and rounder corner extender. It worked great! I then added a second one named completely different and using two different buttons for the TargetControlID. When i run the page, the first one that worked fine does nothing and same with the second when I click either buttons. No errors, etc.
So i want to see if I can have two of these or not? What would cause it to stop when adding another panel with extenders?
VS 2008 Close Ajax Panel By Code Without Postback?
Jun 15, 2010I am using an AJAX extender on a panel that lets me expand and collapse a panel when I click a button. Does anyone know how to collapse a panel by code without doing a postback? I looked at the properties and methods on the ajax toolkit page and either it is not possible or I am missing it. Actually there is a postback on what I am doing - I forgot. But the page comes back with it open still.
