VS 2005 Asp:panel With Scrollbars=auto In Firefox

I have a problem, which only occurs in Firefox (latest version).I have a panel:
<asp:Panel ID=panel1 ScrollBars=Auto Width=735px Height=400px runat=server>
If the width or the height inside of the panel is exceeded the content of the panel is not shown. Everything works fine in IE8.
I have tried this code as well and the same problem occurs:

I m having GridView with scroll bars. I keep those in Update panel to update without postback when I click on Previous and Next buttons outside the Grid. Now, I drag the scroll bar down and select a row. The row is getting highlighted and works fine but the Scroll bars Goes Up. If I remove the update panel, scroll bar is not going up but next and previous button events are not working

I have this weird problem with the auto complete extender not firing in firefox, but it gets a little more complex let me try to explain.In IE it works fine (always).In firefox it works only if i directly browse to the page /newmember.aspx,I'll elaborate on this.
In my index.aspx i have a menu,when you click on a menu item that page gets loaded into the content div (using jquery's load command).
So basically it looks like this: $('#Content').load("/newmember.aspx");
While newmember is embedded is in index.aspx, the auto complete extender won't work in firefox (works fine in IE).

I have a very strange problem using Mozilla Firefox (everything works well in IE8).I have a user control where I run code when the droplist is changed.

If I have entered "aaa" the alert appears, fine. But afterwards the dropdownlist is locked! I can't change it until I have changed the "aaa" to a real number. What happens???If I just make a complete new webform everything works well in Firefox, but using the user control the problem appears.

I have my body height to 100%. I then have a containers height set to 100%. If the window is smaller than the content of my container a vertical scroll bar is added but when I scroll down my container div is no longer 100%.
Please see the attached image.
I then add overflow:auto which sort of works but because it puts a scroll bar inside my container and not the window and my two images are the width of the container they no longer fit next to each other. grrrrr.com

I want to just refresh the iframe on button click without whole page postback.so i have used update panel for removing postback and easily refresh iframe .I works in IE, but not working in firefox.

I am having this update panel page refresh problem with Firefox 3.6, not sure if anybody else has seen it.
It happens to me on pages with multiple ASP update panels. For example, I have two dropdownlists nested inside one of the update panels, and those dropdownlists do allow AutoPostback. For whatever reasons, it triggers other update panels to refresh even though it shouldn't. It only happened in Firefox 3.6, I haven't seen it in Firefox 3.5.x or Chrome or even IE 8.

I have found an odd bug in my application. I have a dropdown status which is bound to my gridview. On selecting a status from the dropdown the selectedindex then fires and binds the results to the gridview.Now the strange behaviour in firefox and not IE:If I have a dropdown open and an ajax update fires on my gridview the option is selected from the dropdown (just by hovering my mouse over it rather than selecting it) and the results bound to the gridview. This does not happen in ie as you should have to physically select an item from the dropdown rather than firefox selecting it for you because you happened to hover over an option when the update event fires.

I am new to this forums.I am using the Google Chart API to show the chart on the page on the drop down selection. This is working fine in IE but not in firefox 3.6 with update panel. When I remove the update panel then this is working fine in all browsers but if I use update panel on the page then chart is disappering after changing the selection of drop down. It seems that google chart is not compatible with update panel.
My code is something like this. Please suggest where I am doing wrong.

I use AJAX tab panel for my web site (ver.1.0.2) with VS2005. Previously I use large page and now i it change to tab panel. The problem is when I change the source view to design view it automatically update the content of tab panel and show the 'error creating control' and sometimes it not. So I'm having difficulty on designing that page because always I have to keep the backup of the page.

I have a text box with an auto-complete extender attached to it. This is in a panel. Now, I have set the default button of the panel to the submit button of the panel.

Now, I find that when the auto-complete options show up and I try to select an option using the enter key, the button is pressed (triggering a postback) due to it being the defaultbutton of the panel. I want to be able to select an aut-complete option using the enter key and yet not post back. Therefore, the enter key (when the text box is in focus) should not trigger a postback. How can I achieve this?

Got some small(Basic) doubt on update panel. Using Update Panel, Is it possible to stop updating a part of Page? The problem is, I have a very small portion of page, in which I'm updating some data using JavaScript, Which I want to retain(in ASP language Maintain State) for any post back that will occur in Page. I thought placing update panel will solve the purpose, But as per Update panel principle, It will updates only that part of page based on the Triggers conditions. I want it exactly in reverse way (It is very difficult for me to place Update panel for the entire page excluding the small part).

I have to update a gridview inside an updatepanel in a button click.The thing is i'm having gridview in contentpage.I have placed scriptmanager in masterpage.when i clicked on the button to trigger the updatepanel,no update is happening in gridview.Moreover,after placing updatepanel control in contentpage,i saw a redcurvedline (which is an error basically) below the updatepanel control's text which is showing an error as "Element 'updatepanel' is not known element.This can occur if there is a compilation error in the website" in .aspx page's source view.I have attached the screen shot here of that page here for your reference.
But it's working in ordinary web page.

I am using gridview with update panel Animation extender for updating effects. Everything is working fine but when page expires(means session ends) and I try to uupdate(edit,delete record) it fadeout the grid but donot fadein and shows following javascript error as image. I want if session ends it should redirect to login instead of fading out and showing javascript error message
