Mar 24, 2010I am in the process of migrating the ASP.Web Application from .NET framework 1.1 to 3.5.
I installed the VS 2008 (framework 3.5 SP1) and was able to rebuild the ASP.NET web app from 1.1.
I downoladed the AJAX Toll Kit library from codeplex [URL]
I was able to add the AJAX Toolkit tab in my VS 2008 tool box.
I am using the AutoComplete serach extender which works fine when I use the Ajax Tool Kit Script manager.
When I use the Ajax Extension Script Manager in place of Ajak ToolKit Script manager I get an error "
AjaxControlToolkit requires ASP.NET Ajax 4.0 scripts. Ensure the correct version of the scripts are referenced. If you are using an ASP.NET ScriptManager, switch to the AjaxScriptManager in System.Web.Ajax.dll, or use the ToolkitScriptManager in AjaxControlToolkit.dll.

This has only recently started happening.. There are already AJAX controls on the page which still work but I want to add new ones with the new toolkit but for some reason cannot add the toolkit anymore. If I copy the toolkit to the local C: drive of my PC and add them I can , but when I then copy my page back to the server, none of the controls are working.

I followed all the steps in the ReadMe but everytime I right -click in the new tab and select "Choose Items..." my visual studio shows in the left hand bottom corner something like "Loading 'Choose Toolbox Items' dialog" and then after a few seconds visual studio just exits. Apr 3, 2011I implement many themes in Blogengine.net 2.0 for many users and have lots of problems with it then i need to thing first that are it is really stable.
when i use Be.net 2.0 pagination in the stable version wrongly coded they never update them even someone reported them many time. means no one care about bad thing populated in Be.net 2.0 when i learn them their is too much blog but not as much as wordpress no problem but if you have a question their is no one answer you or answer you got from community going too late. this is not like a wordpress community then you question and get response quickly.
the first and 2nd is small issue no problem i have from that but a big problem is that functionality in blogengine.net not working well as in wordpress and in some other cms have every functionality well designed. i found many issue i reported from other when i implement theme from them like.
3.1 if someone write a post who are in future date , in draft , or published then sometime they show addpost page instead of editpost page. this make sometime user feel dirty because you know what they thing when they write a big post and found that all their craft goes left
3.2 Be.net have less functionality then any average other CMS no problem if it's less the issue that sometime you not found what's going wrong whenever their is a issue in the code you write or refactor existing pattern in blogengine.net
SO i want to know are Blogengine.net 2.0 really have stable version or they make them only for showing that they have really same thing as other.

Dec 11, 2010What is the standard way to maintain a stable user session in ASP.NET without worrying about IIS recycles, disconnected users, re-opening browsers and so on. I would like for our users to not have to login except once per month, whatever happens!
Also does it matter if I am using my own login control (not the standard asp.net login control)? If I understand correctly, I think I would need to create an authentication ticket manually.

I have a sample Microsoft Word document which has several paragraphs.
When I click the button "Paste from MS Word (with cleanup)" on the Editor, <br/> is inserted as the HTML instead of <p></p> i.e. HTML paragraphs.
I would like the MS Word paragraphs to retain their meaning and have a <p> instead of <br />.
(By the way, they are kept if I do a standard Paste, but then a lot of other obscure characters are inserted into the HTML)

The problem is that all the data on these 5 pages gets loaded at once and increases the loading time as well as it is very hard to debug. Can we do lazy loading uisng TabContainer control? so that only the data of the current tab is loaded and when we click on the other tab then that's control data gets loaded.
