I cant access the custom control using the HTML DOM Like this: HtmlDocument doc = HtmlPage.Document; HtmlElement element = doc.GetElementById("HostTest"); HtmlElement element1 = doc.GetElementById("silverlightControlHost"); HtmlElement element2 = doc.GetElementById("WebPartZone3"); HtmlElement element2Parent = element2.Parent; HtmlElement element3 = doc.GetElementById("SLRoomConsumerPart1"); //element3 does not return anything at all just Null!
all of the other elements are returned except for element 3 which returns a null! Any controls (regardless if it is a custom control, ASP control, Usercontrol . i tried it by replaceing the custome control with an aspnet button. i go t a null value as well) placed in the <ZoneTemplate> Tag of the <WebpartZone> is not returned using the HTML DOM. I have created a web user control I want to change the iframe' src value when the user click on the link but the problem is that I dont have access to iframe inside the page from web user control I think there is a way because my control is in the page they have some relation perhaps I like to find something like this :
I have been trying to set the value of a hidden input by using Javascript and then access the value from within my C# codebehind. When I run the code that is copied below, the value that is assigned to assignedIDs is "", which I assume is the default value for a hidden input. If I manually set the value in the html tag, then assignedIDs is set to that value.
This behavior suggests to me that the value of the input is being reset (re-rendered?) between the onClientClick and onClick events firing.
Now that I put this html inside a Tab containe (subpanel) the Page.Request.Form["Name"].ToString() fail, actually while I was debugging I could not find this element inside Page.Request.Form.
maybe there is another way of accessing the Html element from my c# code?
i have a usercontrol with a few dropdownlist....n i am using that usercontrol in few pages and depending on pages those dropdownlist can be enabled mode or disabled mode.
so i created a property:

I have an html input control that is a radio button. This radio button needs to disable required field validators when selected. This is my non working code so far. What have I not done?
I have a GridView control that has an ItemTemplate that contains an HTML radio button. In my code behind I am querying a database, retrieving a column of values, and then binding the list to the GridView. My problem is that the radio button that I select is not being persisted on post back. I have tried using an ASP RadioButton rather than an HTML control, but when I do that all of the radio button can be selected at the same time (i.e. like check boxes). how to persist the radio button that is selected in this scenario?

I am using a form view control which has two binded textbox. Now at this level it works fine and the textboxes show the values from database. But when i insert a panel inside the form view and move these two textboxes inside the panel, they dont show any values. What could be the reason for this?
