Web Forms :: Button Control Even Click Is Not Triggering?

I hate this bugs in Visual Studio..I have this code:

Click event is not triggering. This is the head of aspx file:

I don't have an idea what the hell happens just imeddiately that so simple stuff don't want to work.I use some javascript jquery too, and I tried to remove all JavaScript, still the same.. Deleted button and events, reapplied them on page, still not triggering Click event.. Wth?

I have a ListView (table inside) and it's first row are some TextBoxes for filtering actions.
In the last column I have a button that calls my Search function and filters the records according to the inputs.

My Search function for now only displays a text inside a Label at the top of the page.
When I load the page, I'm using ListViewPesquisa.DataBind() so it shows it's EmptyDataTemplate, but when I click the button inside the event isn't called at all. If I do put some data (any data) in the ListView and it shows it's LayoutTemplate instead, the event is called properly.
I can get around this issue by moving the filter line out of the table, but I'd like to know why is that the button inside the EmptyDataTemplate doesn't work.

look at the code below.btnCustomDateOk dosen't trigger postback at all.it's supposed to run a date range validator (javascript) first and if succeed then triggers a server-side event.(I've been testing around and when I replaced the button with a linkbutton, everything ran perfectly fine, wt? am I misusing the button control?)

I have written a user control that captures some user input and has a Save button to save it to the DB. I use a repeater to render a number of these controls on the page - imagine a list of multiple choice questions with a Save button by each question.
I am loading the user control inside the repeater's ItemDataBound event like this (code simplified):

The problem is that when the Save button is clicked, the page posts back, but lbnUpdate_Click is not called. The Page_Load event of the page itself is called however.
I should mention that the repeater is part of a user control, and that user control is loaded inside another user control (this is a DotNetNuke site which makes heavy use of user controls). The Save button link looks like this:

I am using fancyBox Scripts to display a link in IFRAme.

i was struck totally when i am trying to dynmically show fileupload control on button click...here is my scenario of my flow....
initially i will be showing only one fileupload control...and if the user wants to upload more files he will click on add more button so that it should dynamically show another fileupload...
like wise he should be able to upload upto 40 files max.

a problem with firing click event when asp:button control is click on IE8. Its properly postedback but when i click button in IE8, it does'nt do any thing. After review on mouseover on button the the following type link showing on button pagename.aspx?vid=18 on next click it incremented pagename.aspx?vid=18&vid=18 and so on. I have a user control that displays some database records when I first hit the page. When I click the submit button the page load event fires again, loading the user control again. Then the button click event fires inserting a new row in the database which is not shown on the page because the user control already did its stuff. If I could get the user control to do its stuff after the button click event I could then see the newly inserted row. I can do this by pulling the code out of the button click event and sticking it in the page load event. However, I think that would be bad code flow. How can I get the user control to do its stuff after the button click event has fired?

I have a dropdown on page, a place holder and a save button on my form.Now, I am creating a textbox on selectedIndexChanged event of dropdown list and adding it to placeholder. And on button click I want to access the control, but on click event, I find the textbox as null. Here is my code

I have little strange question. I would like to Validate my Page Controls on the button click which is there in the User Control. This user control is placed on the Page. If I check Page.IsValid property on button click event, it returns false. But Validation Summary message doesn't popup. So user doesn't know what's happening. It will not save the information and it won't give the validation message too.

I have Web page that uses LinkButton control inside Template Fields of Gridview.I am trying to work on LinkButton Click event and trying to preserve the Value of LinkButton that user click, and based on that value, i want to refresh tha page data.
I used CommandName and CommandArgument property of Linkbutton, but i can use that property only in GridView_RowCommand method by checking e.CommandName expression. But the problem with that Gridview_RowCommand event fire after all other page_load activity. So the value never used in the page_load event to refresh the data in all other control.I also tried to use OnClick Method, Session variable and Hidden variable. but when i run Response.Redirect method from Gridview_RowCommand, it clear all the Session and Hidden variable values. also tried (Response.Redirect(,false)) method but never got success.

I have a detailsview control, which I use to enter data and save to the database. I am using object datasource to connect to the db. The detailsview control has autogenerateinsert = "true". When the insert is successfull, I want to set some variables and and to redirect the page to a different one. I don't know how to access the insert button click event of the detailsview to do it. If there is different solution like using <insertItemTemplate> and using custom linkbuttons.
