Radiobuttonlist - Linking To A Radio Button Selection?
Jan 20, 2011I have an "articles" page that holds a radiobutton list and a textarea. when the user selects a radio button, the text area is populated. now the users wants to be able to point to an article via a url link. (everything is dynamic and being pulled from a db source)
by using a 3 party tool i was able to grab the exact http request (below) that will link to the users' selection. the problem is the url is extremely long. is there another way to link to the radio button selection? that way i can just modify the query string to fit a specific format.

Jul 8, 2010I have a gridview that has a radiobuttonlist ( YES/NO ) selections. but since you cant uncheck once selected, they are asking to add a clear option so that if they make a mistake they can clear it..
How can i do that within a gridview so that they can clear any mistakes prior to submission?
I have a loop checking all my radiobuttons to perform an update, so if i would like to be able to clear the selection as soon as the click on "Clear" so when they submit, that row shows as if it was never selected.

I solved 2 problems with adding ids to anchors like id="tabsA-1" and simulating the postback for

which selectedTabIndex is a public string var in code_behind and i update its value in page_load. one funny problem was that the .tabs( 'select' , index ) in JQuery is not zero-based index of the tab as the official site said and it start from 1.

The code below is wrapped in an update panel but without this, the button click fires a method to retrieve the number of products. So for example, an item is selected from ddlCategory, the btnValidate is clicked and the label returns the number of products within that category.I have the following code for an update panel - I'm just not sure how to implement if effectively.

Jul 13, 2010I have a FormView on my page that shows customer information and below that a GridView that shows the product keys associated with the selected customer. The selected customer is controlled by a QueryString parameter named id. The product key GridView and the FormView both check the id property of the QueryString and load the associated data. I have created a New LinkButton at the top of the page that utilizes the FormView.ChangeMode() method to set the FormView in Insert mode.
My problem is that when I set the FormView in Insert mode, the QueryString still contains the id parameter from the last selected customer so when the page loads to insert a new customer, the product keys for the last selected customer are loaded. Obviously a problem. Is there a way to clear the QueryString parameters in the New LinkButton click event? One thing that works is to clear the DataSourceID of the GridView and rebind the GridView and then when the new customer is inserted, set the DataSourceID again. Is this really the best way to accomplish this?

May 7, 2015I am inserting and updating the image from html file upload to my gridview / insertion goes fine , but when i update the image by clicking on edit using onselectedindexchanged event of gridview, I fetch the image then change it with other image, with this simultaneously i rebind the gridview, in the beck-end everything goes fine it updates and replaces the image but in gridview it won't show after updated. I am using postbacktrigger on my submit button, but gridview won't refreshes, until and unless i click on address bar and press ENTER , or until i won't press CTRL+F5 to clear the browser cache.
