Web Forms :: Custom Views On .aspx Webpage?

i have a client that needs me to create a custom view on thier webpage similar to Microsoft Word.
It goes about that, when I click on an image it redirects me to another page and must create a custom view for a certain paragraph on that page. I am not sure how to do this and wonder if anyone knows how.
I am using C# programming language if that helps at all. I Heard that using javascript would work but i dont know javascript yet so is there any alternative?

I am using PartialView(.ascx) to show a Popup on my .Aspx. Partail View is PopUp.ascx and i have written a Jquery fun where i call Action Mehod of PopUp. If i use 1 id in my Route then it works fine the PopUp dialog appears fine but if i include 2 ids in my route. Then it doesnt appears as a popup. Action Method of Partial View executes fine but the PopUp appears as a plain HTML in my dialog div.

I have a simple test page using a couple asp features that I want to incorporate in a future site. It runs fine in Visual Web Developer.I deploy the site on a device running Windows CE with a web server. When I go look at Default.aspx I just read the file as text. Do I need to install something else on the device to get the web page to work?

So I have a controller called EmployeeController, and all the Views are in /Employee.
I'd like to create a route so that the EmployeeController will use /Employees and /Employees/Add instead of /Employee and /Employee/Add.
I keep finding articles about how to change the route to go to different actions.

I have this in my HTML email to track if someone views the email in say Outlook.
<img src="http://www.example.com/track.ashx?user=3434" />
but this doesn't seem to work.Should I change my headers in the .ashx to server image headers? Can this work using this method?
I emailed myself with an email, other images displayed properly. There was no log in the database for the handler (the handler logs all requests to the db). Calling the URL to the file in the browser logs to the db, so its working.

I want to connect one webpage to another using a command button called email. When the user clicks on the email button it should take them to another webpage where the user can select the emails they want to send to. Then they will click the OK button and it will return them to the previous webpage where they can type in their email and write a message and hit submit.

I created a custom 404 page and set its output cache duration to 7200 seconds (the pages themselves aren't updated more than twice a day, so I figured this was reasonable).
I ran into an error on the live side of things when I uploaded it, and I'm trying to debug and solve it. The problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of the cache itself, which definitely appears to be getting in the way. The reason I say that relates to my stack trace:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Input string was not in a correct format.

I've been trying to debug the ExtractURLComponents sub, and even commented out every line in it.

I'm still getting an error, even with every line of the sub commented out. So this is why I'm thinking it's got something to do with the cache. I tried clearing it with a different page using this:

I'm not sure if there's anything I'm supposed to do to clear the cache.

I have to create the custom pages/ templates. User has to specify the fields and controls from UI and then we have to display the specified controls on an aspx page. We have mutiple users that are adding their custom fields and controls. How we can manage this data in database? Do we have to create different database for each user or we have to create different tables for each user in a single database? Also, I can go with any other option (XML, Sharepoint etc) so that all the data will be managed in a simpler form.

I've create a custom attribute for my web pages... In the base page class I've created I'm trying to pull if that attribute has been set. Unfortunately it does not come back as part of the GetCustomAttributes function. Only if I explicitly use the typeof(myclass) to create the class. I have a feeling it's due to how asp.net classes are generated.

In my code I am assigning certain values to labels from data reader.While debugging I can see that proper values are assigned but the changes are not reflecting in the end of debug on the webpage that are executing.

I want to display an image on a page with Image control on it.
I know this is very simple but tweak in my case is that image is available as a stream variable (which I am getting as a response from one of the server) instead of physical file.
Eventually I want to create a control for this with some other feature on it.
My question is how to assign "stream" variable to Image control?

I have an MVC view that contains a number of partial views. These partial views are populated using partial requests so the controller for the view itself doesn't pass any data to them. Is it possible to reload the data in one of those partial views if an action was triggered in another? For example, one partial view has a jqGrid and I want to refresh the data in another partial view when a user selects a new row in this grid. Is there a code example for this scenario (in C#) that I can look at to see what am I doing wrong? I am using ajax calls to trigger a new request but non of the partial views are refreshed so I am not sure if the issue is with the routing, the controller,

We have a company product (asp.net website) that gets compiled and distributed to our clients. I need to figure out a way to allow us to add in an ad hoc aspx webpage into the website (so it recognizes the master page, the forms authentication, assemblies, etc) without having to provide them with an un-compiled version of the website product.Is this possible. Is there a better method than having a special compiled version of the website on their server.

I have an interesting scenario. Here is what I want to do:1. Map all requests to a custom IHttpHandlerFactory implementation. This is easy enough to do by setting up a * mapping.2.
