I need to build page for x product (every user have number of product) and every line i show the product picture + name + listBox the show to the user how much packege he want to buy (0-10)
the button run to see what product the user order (>0 packedges)
how to show at every line(Row) the ListBox , and how to find the product that the user wants

it bring me this error Conversion from string "~/Products.aspx?CategoryId=" to type 'Double' is not valid.
I have a listbox filled with records. Is it possible that I select a record in the listbox and corresponding to it a textbox is generated? I want to enter comments in the textbox and finally save in the database the selected record of listbox and the data in the textbox corresponding to it.
View 3 RepliesI am designing a program that will let me enter the name of an item to swap and adds the swap to an array list when a button Add is pressed. Once the item is added to the array list a Sub Procedure should be called which displays the contents of the array list in a list box.
The system will also allow me to remove items from the array list using a Remove button
followed by updating array list.
I have done some part which puts item into the listbox1 which i named lstSwapList.I would need some assistance on the Sub Procedure to display the Value or Description on the other listbox2 which i have also named lstContent,if a value is selected from the listbox1.
I would also want to know how to update the Listbox content,However i hv added a sample of the way i guess it may be.
Any complete solution from anybody on the Sub Procedure and the Update Swap procedure will be greately appreciated.

I'm trying to create a list of image buttons dynamically, but I'm having trouble displaying the images. I'm using the Directory.GetFullPath method, but I don't think its the right thing to do.I've viewed the page, and the image path is showing as

I have an Employee model that has a Name and Company
I want to be able to build multiple Employees in one CREATE view. I figured I need to create an IList<Employee> and do something like:

I'm creating an quiz application which queries the database and extracts the questions and choices. I use dynamically created controls such as a checkbox list and fill the values dynamically. How do I do this? Right now I have these functions:
array_random_init(); this creates a 10 element integer array from 1-20 - extract_question(i): this extracts a question indexed at i in DB, I created the controls and set the appropriate text in this function. - validate_question(i); this is called by button_click and validates the question i according to DB.
I understand I have to recreate the controls in Page_init on postback, but what should it look like? Do I need to add "if IsPostBack" in page_init, or do I create the controls in page_init() and reset their properties in page_load when I use extract_question(i)? Also, I cannot seem to clear the selected boxes on postback, I added page directive "enableviewstate=false" but it doesn't work.

I have the following code which simply gets data from a table and populates the questions_lb listbox with items. I have a button on the page, which when clicked, should write (on submit) the selected state of each of the items. The code below writes the text values of each of the items fine however it always writes the li.Selected as False even though i have selected items from the list. Note that you can select Multiple items from the list. Does anyone have a clue why its not writing 'True' for an item that is selected on submit?

I have a drop down that lists all our 40+ locations.. I then have a list box with all our locations as well. The client is presented with the question which locations have you worked at before. If they pick say 3 locations, i need to remove or disable those 3 from the drop down. I have other code for creating a drop down, but not sure where to go with this.

if i click on any products the related details of that product has to be dispaly in the same webform .

I'm currently in the process of creating a webshop. This webshop supports theming, but I also want customers to choose a lay-out. I can create multiple masterpages and create a handler to dynamically set the correct master page. But some components, like the shopping cart, are controls which have to be present in the master page and are also used in the aspx pages. The shopping cart control for instance, has an Update method which is called whenever the user adds a product to their cart. So the question is: can I somehow create a default masterpage which has all the components on it, but still be able to create multiple lay-outs. And how should I reference that master page from the aspx pages? I also thought of creating an Interface class which defines the masterpage and it's public components, but I don't know if I can reference an interface from aspx pages.

This is what I have so far, I get the correct number of items in the listbox, but I don't get the correct value. They are all "1985".

View 4 RepliesThe scenerio is I have a UserControl. This user control will create dynamically ListBoxes if the given List's count > 0. The controls are adding dynamically, there is no problem with adding them, but the event handler is not adding. If I select an item in first listBox, the secondListBox will be added dynamically, and items will add dynamically too. First listBox appears, but the selectedIndexChanged event handler doesn't work. What can be the problem with my code?
