In the foreach loop, it is iterating through the publisher's tables rows, and I wamt it to query the titles table to find all books that have that publisher id and create a gridview out of it. In the code above I am not getting it right. I need multiple GridViews, one for each iteration of the foreach loop. How do I do this?

Mar 26, 2011I am designing a program that will let me enter the name of an item to swap and adds the swap to an array list when a button Add is pressed. Once the item is added to the array list a Sub Procedure should be called which displays the contents of the array list in a list box.
The system will also allow me to remove items from the array list using a Remove button
followed by updating array list.
I have done some part which puts item into the listbox1 which i named lstSwapList.I would need some assistance on the Sub Procedure to display the Value or Description on the other listbox2 which i have also named lstContent,if a value is selected from the listbox1.
I would also want to know how to update the Listbox content,However i hv added a sample of the way i guess it may be.
Any complete solution from anybody on the Sub Procedure and the Update Swap procedure will be greately appreciated.

Mar 25, 2011I have a number of dropdownlists which use cascading dropdownlist / webservices. All fine. Now user wants last dropdown to be multi-select. So I want to replace the last dropdownlist with a listbox. But there is no cascadinglistbox. I'm looking for a straight-forward solution if possible. Either how to fill the listbox with the existing webservice which fills the last dropdownlist, or - is it possible to use the contrents of the last dropdown as a datasource for the listbox? I thought maybe hide the last dropdown and loop through its contents to fill the listbox.

Jan 15, 2010I am trying to assign values I've gathered from a JSON feed to my own type, a class in which I have defined certain fields (properties) to put the JSON elements into, plus elements that are derived from a RegEx pattern matching process. This will then allow me to access the object using LINQ, as I am using a List to hold my objects. There is a foreach loop in my code that loops for each match that my RegEx method finds. I am only interested in the parts of the JSON feed where there is a match. So my own defined class is as such:

And then I want to populate List in the RegEx Matches loop:

The code will then go on to extract and sort the results via Linq to Objects. But compiler won't actually let me create my var tc = new List<TwitterCollection>() because: 'System.Collections.Generic.List' does not contain a definition for 'origURL' ... even though I have defined it. It does not flag an error if I simply write new TwitterCollection but then how do I refer to this in my Linq expression later on??

Some of them are contract number, invoice number, register date and other that are easy to handle. So, when the dropdown is selected, fields related with price should get their values from price table, and then the user decides to keep them or type in new values. How can I get it done?
