While sending password value from client side to server side i need to encrypt textbox value using javascript and receive that encrypted value in the server side. Here in the link you'll find one example which will send encrypted value of textbox from client end to server end. I'm trying to implement the same code, but this doesn't send encrypted textbox value from cilent side to server side. I do google regarding this, but no positive result found till now.

I have successfully created a SQL Server database that is holding the ASP.NET Membership data for my site. I have also created two textboxes and used them for user authentication after he/she keys in a user name and password. I would now like encrypt the password before comparing to the value stored in the Password field of the SQL Server database. However, I have been unable to do this so far.I have consulted the MSDN page for the embershipProvider.EncryptPassword method but I do not understand how to implement it. I have also tried searching Google for this method but I have only found a couple of examples and I don't understand those either.

I have following issue: I have a datatable with a column which I would like to encrypt. This table has about 10.000 rows, and this particular column is storing 14 digit keys. Is there any way to encrypt all those keys in this particular column (just to make them useless if someone steals by db)?

I have 2 page
1-index.aspx and 2-store.aspx and House_info Table
House_info table
Id Name Image Behcode

In index.aspx I have 1 TB and 1 Button I want when user type behcode
in TB and click on BUTTON it go to store.aspx page and fill this page with data from
table House_info according to the behcode in this table
I know i should use querystring but here i have TB and i dont know how i can use it

i don't want to use <input type="submit"> mainly because it's a button, i'd rather user ActionLink, so i am using Ajax.ActionLink, and i'm not sure what to place in the routeValues argument for it to pickup the new (edited) data (user enters comments etc) and send it to my action.

I have been using a C# asp.net email form for a while on an old server (administered by a friend who has moved away) and now I have my own server. The problem is the form appears to send but the message never turns up in the mail box. Because the form used to work, I suspect its my server settings. The code behind for the form is:

i am building an intranet for the company and i when a ticket is raised i want to select a person and send them that ticket. I have the gridview in place and the users email address. All i need is some simplle send mail code in c# to get it going. I am not sure on what i have to do weather i have to authenticate it and if the fact that exchange is on a sbs 2008 server called server01 and the intranet is on server02 they are both on the same domain.

I am developing an web application using VB.NET in which user have to confirm the email address they provide to activate the account, in short I have to send an email for activating there account. I am all set with the logic and codes, the only trouble is I just realise that i need a mail server and domain to be able to send email.
To be honest with you all i need now is something to try if the application is working and obviously for demo. I havent got any domain yet and no intention of buying one.

I'm working with asp.net c# web application. We have completed site and hosted in dedicated server (own server).
This server having only one site (sharepoint site). A page having 1000+ images. Loading in base page. And slide show in popup page.
Base page image painting is going on. At same time popup page image is not loading up to base page paint complete. I changed popup image download to some other server means working fine.
Here my problem is same domain more than 2 request web server (iis) not responding up to first 2 requests complete. We can call 2 requests at a time. How to increase more than 2 request in ie. This problem is not available in Firefox. Firefox can manage more than 2 requests. Ie not allows only 2 requests to one domain at a time.
How to send more than 2 requests from ie to a domain?
