View 4 RepliesI have a repeater control which has an table format that has textboxes in it. I tried the solution at [URL] which works but loses the table format. I have an example below in which I have modified that code and have it so now the table format stays but the values show outside the table and not in the correct columns and rows.
I need to keep the values in the proper location.
<asp:Repeater ID="rptMonthlyReport" runat="server" OnItemDataBound="rptMonthlyReport_ItemDataBound">

I have a repeater control that is getting exported to excel. Well excel will no longer show the data that was in the textboxes. I've read the article on exporting a gridview having the same problem and how you replace the texboxes with literal contrls. I was wondering if there is an article like it only for a repeater control.

I have a web form that contains a GridView, which impliments Search in Grid with a TextBox and Button control in the footer. This works as I have it now. I have also implimented a Export to Excel function. The Export to Excel works by itself if the Search in Grid function is not included in the footer.The Export to Excel function errors when trying to render the Grid for the export. Is there a better way to incorporate both functions and accomplish the same thing? Am I missing something simple?

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to send me and example (if it's possible) of exporting a panel that contains a repeater control to a pdf using itextsharp. I'm using a panel because i need to also show other data that is not on the repeater.

I'm trying to export a filtered dataview to excel. The code to export works just fine but it exports all the records, not just the ones I filtered on. For example, I have three dropdowns and the dataview seems to work just fine filtering on the dropdown parameters because it shows up correctly in my datagrid on my screen.
This line of code is where I am confused.
